Dedication
I am dedicating this book to my husband Barry Likely, my children Barry Jr. and Justin, my mom Loree Murphy, family, and friends who have shared this journey with me. I dedicate this book to them because they never gave up on me and saw the calling that I have on my life. I am so thankful for these people God has placed in my life. I cannot think of anyone else that I would rather share it with. I have overcome so many challenges in my life and I know I would have not overcome them without God and you all. Thank you all for your love and support. God bless you all! I know now that it is important to read God’s word and apply God’s word to my life!

Introduction
The purpose of this book is to help Christians understand the importance of studying and training in God’s word. I cannot tell you how many times that I have told people we must become disciplined in God’s word. I know as a Christian I studied God’s word in the past and thought that I had it and put the book down. That is when I messed up. You see it is something that we must do continually. If you want to become successful you cannot do it by yourself. You have to put God first in your life. It takes training and disciplined in his word. When we begin to replace the wrong thoughts with thoughts from God’s word we pull down strongholds in our lives. God’s thoughts are not our thoughts so we have to read the Bible to get more of his thoughts and ways. Then, put what we read in his word into practice in our lives. Only then will we be able to reach our destination that he has for us. I hope that when you read this book that it will bless you and help you gain understanding. Also, I hope you understand the importance of reading God’s Word and you will begin to apply it in your life.
Chapter 1
Become Disciplined in the God’s Word
What does discipline has to do with our walk in God? It has a lot to do with our Christian walk in God. When we fail to be disciplined in the natural then eventually we will fail in doing spiritual things. In the Old Testament of the Bible is says that God gave Moses the 10 Commandments. At that time there were no laws and rules. The people lack vision and discipline. You cannot prosper in life if you are not disciplined.
The Bible makes it very clear to train a child up in the way he shall go and when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). The word says that parents must train children up but what about the parents? How can they train the children if they have never been trained up? How can we teach and show our kids how to be disciplined if we lack it.
DISCIPLINE
Discipline is hard work and is linked to the anointing of God. How can you know and understand God’s word if you are not even pushing yourself to read the Bible? God wants us to be as little children and seek him. We have to understand that through God’s word we will gain knowledge and wisdom in his word and the only way is being disciplined.
Future Benefits of Wisdom

My sons, do not forget my teaching, but
