All praise belongs to Allah; blessings be upon His slave and final Messenger, Muhammad and on his family, his companions and all those who follow guidance which came through him.

I wrote this to help those who are close to me as well as all the Muslims out there who might be involved in viewing porn and suffering in silence with the consequences. Some people have privately approached me regarding this matter before, and I felt like I could do more for them than the small advice I would give to them. Particularly, one of my students who didn’t seem like the type to watch it, he was bright and always participated in the lessons. He approached me after a lesson with this problem. I felt ashamed with myself that there wasn’t any organized Islamic material in the English language on this topic that I could recommend to him.

What you won’t find in this book are the many harms of porn or its effects on other areas of your life. There is plenty of research out there for those who wish to go in that direction.

My focus is to have a simple spiritual plan that worked for people in the past when it came to give up sins and can be accessed by sincere people who really want to change.
