Special thanks to my wife, Marilyn Christian, for compiling, organizing and finalizing the books of my collections. Her photographing and editing skills were vital to all of my works.
Also, a special thank you to my son, Noel Christian, for providing the photograph for the cover of this book. For me, this picture of his son, of my grandson, playing on the beach, represents a sentimental journey of my life during my own childhood in the Cayman Islands.

An Opening Word by the Author...
Many people often ask:
How do you write and do you have to often rewrite your material?
I have long summed up my answer to the above with the following:
A Word, the written word, small purveyor of a thought, so like a thought, once thought, cannot be recalled, so too, a word once writ, should need NOT be re-written, for with such licence, we would but change ... the very substance of the thought.

We need to see and clearly understand that there is, was, and always will be, bigger fish, bigger birds, bigger animals and certainly bigger and more stupid humans who think that they know better, know more, and/or are better able to govern and rule because of the size of their bank accounts... NOT SO!
However, come walk along your Canada’s many diverse peoples, places and cultures. What do you find? That same age old question... What do we do about the French or the Indians???
Kinda like, H E L L O... I think they were both here first. I remember they gave their lives to preserve this great land of ours. I heard they fought and defeated the USA invasion. Oh... was that twice? I know they are always ahead of all our plans with full and willing cooperativeness.
We need to realize that this vast land of ours could, and should, welcome millions more to build, defend, and enjoy this great land of ours.
So go now and take a read of my kinda tongue in cheek look at what ails us, keeps us arguing, restricts our growth all or mostly because we turn our ears into the swampy water like the Beaver did until we realize that the cry of
