You would not be reading this book if it were not for the witty contributions of my husband, Jim, and my boys, Mason and Zeb. The three of them could make any old miser loosen his purse strings and do it with a smile. They carry with them a jocularity that can lighten a heart or drive a person mad with frustration. Keeping in mind the latter will only provoke their zaniness and present a challenge to drive one right over the cliff. They are a delightfully misunderstood trio by some—and one of the great wonders of the world to me.

Mason, you are so damn funny. Your profane wit is refreshing in this ungodly, politically correct world. What would I do without your unrefined, witty comebacks you can lob across the room? I would feel adrift in a sea full of oversensitive, milksop, self-absorbed, whiney buffoons. Thank God for your input of well-balanced offensiveness.

Zeb, my original cool guy. I am not sure you know this, but you have been a rock throughout this endeavor. Your confident disposition has enabled me to forge ahead through some stormy times. I am thankful and mesmerized by your self-assurance and the gracious, honesty you bestow to others. My life would be incomplete without our accidental blessing.
