    Introduction:

    When a military flight crew is tasked with delivering late cargo to other bases, their orders are to fly despite very strong storms brewing in their flight path. The C-27 Spartan they are flying is about 10 years old with a good safety record. Still, this didn’t make one of the crew members feel any easier, considering they were flying over the Bermuda Triangle when things started going wrong. Some experts say, given the right conditions, the Bermuda Triangle could unlock key elements of time, creating very strange occurrences.

    Lost at Sea

    The huge Marine Corps CH-46 twin bladed helicopter lifted up off the landing pad at Camp Lejeune, NC, on its way to deliver a flight crew to the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. The crew, Captain Adam’s, Lt. Jean Burton and Sgt. Matt Turner were picking up a fully loaded C-27J Spartan to make a few military deliveries. Bermuda would be their first stop to offload a few pallets. Next, they would be flying up to Newfoundland to refuel for the last leg of the flight to the United Kingdom. Two external wing tank pods were added to the Spartan for greater distances between refueling. This also added extra weight to the aircraft but it would only need a little more runway space to lift up.

    The flight to Cherry Point would be a short one. While the chopper had several other boxes and equipment in the backend, the Spartans crew were seated together near the aft cargo door. During the flight, Lt. Burton commented, "I sure hope the aircraft is fueled, loaded and
