The screech of a thousand gulls was like sweet music to Fjorir. She leapt down heavily from the longship with a splash and waded forwards with axe and shield. The lighter splash she heard behind her was certainly Jiǔ. She suspected he must be feeling relieved to have his feet on anything other than rocking, groaning wood.
