Who partly believed in me and partly did not; the latter was strong motivation.
Between 2045 and 2099 …
Alexander, one of the richest men in Los Angeles, hires a young stuntman, Abi, to go to Colombia for coffee-seed hunting with two other men—Chef and Jason. Chef is a retired secret service agent, who owns an authentic Asian restaurant in San Francisco. Jason is a tough guy, Alexander’s right-hand man. Three coffee-seed hunters make a thrilling journey in pursuit of the scarce and almost extinct seeds of coffee.

Between 2045 and 2099
His name was Abi, which means My Father.
People with this name tend to be leaders; they have deep inner worlds and always strive to be independent. They concentrate on wide issues. They are creative and good at showing their abilities. Always being the center of attention does not bother them. Sometimes they cannot control their energy and money, since they tend to be involved with various types of activities.
Abi was in his midtwenties; he had dropped out of college and was living with his father. His mother had left them a long time ago. He loved doing stunts on his old bicycle and skateboard. After he dropped out of school due to a lack of interest in education and a great desire for an extreme lifestyle, he joined street guys like himself, doing nothing but stunts and acrobatics in the streets and making a living from their street shows. Abi’s gang moved through the streets of Los Angeles, displaying their skills, attracting both tourists and local people.
Abi was the star of his team. He performed the most difficult stunts on his bicycle, ones that nobody dared to repeat. He knew that he could not continue living such a lifestyle for a long time. For that reason, he participated in casting calls, dreaming of becoming a stuntman in Hollywood movies. In those casting calls, tons of guys like him were competing, so success was not coming toward him there. Even so, the major issue was that computer graphics were heavily used in movies, leading to a low demand for stunt performers in the motion picture industry.
From his street show earnings, Abi bought his first motorbike when he was twenty-four. The only reasons he bought the old but sporty motorcycle were to improve his riding stunts and to get a dose of adrenaline. Abi dreamed of experiencing every possible adrenaline in the world. Every morning he drank energy beverages to gain power for the day, but they were artificial and did not kick in well.
In the past, most people drank coffee every morning, every day, and even evenings, which would give them energy for the day. Coffee had become a fairy tale in recent years. It had become a product available only to the most elite of the elite, and it was illegal to buy it without a license. The combined price of the license and coffee was affordable only to elites. There was a humongous annual fee to renew the license to drink coffee.
You might wonder what had happened to the coffee. What was the cause for such a high price?
Well, the answer was simple—scarcity!
Whether the shortage was artificial or natural, coffee was grown in only one location in one country of the world. People in any other place could not grow it for many reasons. The main reason was they did not have the seeds, which were almost gone. Another major issue was the soil and environment, which had been affected by human negligence. Coffee was almost extinct on the surface of the earth, and tea and chocolate were the next in line for extinction. The only country that could grow coffee was Colombia, and only in the capital city of Bogotá. No visitors were allowed on the coffee farms, not even the elites of the world, except for elite Colombian government officials, those of allied governments, and workers, who were informally prisoners in the coffee fields. Only death could save them from imprisonment. The surrounding ground was highly secured by two governments, and the coffee was grown in a highly secured bunker. Only from the top could sunlight penetrate through bulletproof windows. Yet there was no confirmation that the coffee was grown in that bunker.

Abi was doing fine until he bought the motorbike. He started uploading his videos to the internet, which in a short time brought him viral fame. Still, there was no call from Hollywood. He was ticketed a couple of times for speeding and got some major and minor injuries, but he did not consider stopping his way of life. He wanted more and more adrenaline, so he tried skydiving, bungee jumping, surfing, paragliding, and many other extreme sports. And yet he still craved something more extreme.
Abi’s father, Will, was a gardener. He worked in the richest districts of Los Angeles, gardening at the houses of celebrities, successful executives, and political elites. He worked alone and did his job meticulously. Will wanted his son to continue his job of gardening, but Abi loved the extreme life. Abi was thirteen years old when his mother left. When Abi found out about his mother, the first thing he did was ride his bike. He rode the bike so fast that the chain ripped off, and he almost crashed into a tree. Luckily, he jumped off the bike. That moment was the foundation of his falling in love with all the extreme activities of the world.
Most of the time, Will was trusted to do the gardening for rich people when they were out of the country, using a passcode to get access to the garden, while the entrance to the house was locked. He had never done anything wrong when working at a client’s house until one particular instance.
Abi’s father got an offer from a new client, one of the richest men in the neighborhood. As he entered the garden, he saw that the door of the house was open. As he was working in the garden, the alarm came on in the house. He wanted to
