About this ebook

On a small planet, known as the planet of the two suns, people live in peace, and sustain themselves thanks to planting and hunting. Until one day a hundred killer dragons land there, determined to take total control of the planet and forcing all its inhabitants to renounce life on the surface and move to the caves, out of the reach of the dangerous dragons. For many years, life on the planet was a symphony of violence, where humans, when they could, slaughtered dragons on their hunting expeditions; and dragons, for their part, incinerated and dismembered humans at any opportunity that presented themselves. But the king who had ruled the planet of the two suns before the coming of the dragons was determined to drive them out of his territory, and devised a plan to storm the ancient castle where the dragons lived. However, this king died without seeing his plans come to fruition, but Miguel, his son, had sworn to his father to fulfill his dream of returning freedom to his kingdom.

    CHAPTER I

On the planet of the two suns, which was very small, the villagers, whose life was quite happy and simple, were suddenly subjected to the will of strange visitors who came to stay: killer dragons.

The planet of the two suns lived basically by planting corn. Its original inhabitants (humans) hunted very little, since they did not find the need to do so, because the fields provided enough corn for everyone.

The planet was organized in a monarchy, whose king was called Arthur, an energetic and wise man who, despite having lost sovereignty over his people and their fields before the arrival of the dragons, continued to be highly respected, and continued to conspire to , one day, wage war and drive the dragons off the planet. With determination, King Arthur educated his son Miguel in the art of war and combat, preparing him for what would be, according to him, the definitive war that would eventually take place and that would completely seal the dominance of one of the two sides. : humans and dragons.

The utopia of life for Arturo, who was a child when the dragons invaded the planet, was to expel them and restore freedom and happiness to his people.

Life in the middle had not stopped being chaotic since the arrival of the dragons: erratic slaughter, vandalism, death, destruction, cruelty, fear. Arthur saw his father die of sadness, lying in the dark and cold of a cave, a man used to the royal palace. And her son, Miguel, had already been born amid the constant hardship of dealing with dragons every time he surfaced. But little Miguel from childhood already showed incredible audacity: he had killed his first dragon at the age of six, one morning when he left home with Arturo and, while he tied the deer he had killed with his spear, kneeling on the ground, he was attacked by a huge dragon. And Arthur knew that if he was attacked by a dragon, it would be while he was unprepared, because it was known that dragons used to attack when their victims were unprotected, and the shadow gave away the great dragon this time, and Arthur quickly turned around and grabbed the spear next to the deer carcass, leaning back, aiming at the dragon that, he knew, was heading towards him with its mouth open to send it straight to his stomach. But the expression of tension on Arturo's face quickly turned into one of pleasing surprise as he saw him collapse at his feet, spouting blood from his mouth, a spear thrust into the left side of his neck. And Arturo looked to the left side of the dragon and about twenty meters away was his little Miguel, only six years old, still in a courageous position, with heavy breathing and an aggressive look in his childish eyes. Arturo smiled and ran to hug his son:

You will be the one who will give freedom to the planet of the two suns, my son. Hugging him, and lifting him over his head, spinning with joy. The aggressive expression had already faded from Miguel's face: now his childish and innocent gaze had returned.

    CHAPTER II

and everything was the same. Arturo was still a firm supporter of exterminating any dragon that crossed his path, and for this endless hours, together with his fellow citizens, making spears and swords. Such was the anger of the noble ex-king, that many times he went alone, at dawn, with his bow and quiver, to stalk the dragons that went out to hunt at that time, taking advantage of the fact that many species of mammals were exposed when they were hiding the sun. And Arturo could spend hours lying on the grass, waiting for the opportunity. Waiting to hear the wings of the dragons breaking the wind, to shoot them in the temple, the heart, the eyes. And then he really enjoyed the escape. There were times when the dragons could not determine the direction from which the arrow had come, but there were others when they did and would go there looking for the murderer. And on countless occasions Arthur, instead of just lying on the ground, camouflaged by the grass, decided to stand up and run and challenge the dragons to strike him with their flames, but a king is always a king:

Trained tirelessly in battle, he always managed to kill his pursuers or escape with impunity. That was their consolation: to strip
