The House On River Road is about the adventures and misadventures of three young boys during the summer of 1951 in the fictitious town of Little Muddy Water. The story is told through the eyes of David (Butch) Fairburn. David's best friends are Marven (Chookie) Morris and Walter (Fish) Fisher. They call themselves the "Three Musketeers."
A sleepover at a haunted house, a spirit, a mysterious stranger named Bonaparte Blackbird, clashes with a school bully, and a little mischief at the stockyard that attracts the attention of the local police officer, are a few of the adventures the "Three Musketeers" encounter during summer vacation.
The House On River Road is the first children's story penned by author W.D. Frolick. The book is best suited for children in the 10-14 year age group.

W.D. (Dave) Frolick is a late-blooming author. To date, Dave has written four murder/mystery novels and one children's book. He is a country music songwriter, creative director and owner of Frozen North Music (SOCAN), a Canadian music publisher. Dave enjoys writing country songs, golfing, movies, reading a good murder mystery, and watching sports--especially the Toronto Blue Jays. He is retired from a career as an entrepreneur and real estate sales. Dave and his wife Rose live in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
