About this ebook

This is a 3-book bundle, which addresses various subtopics, including but not limited to these:

Book 1: Are all serial killers the same, or do they have different motives, methods, or origins?

In this guide, we will answer those questions in the first chapter. You will learn about the background of serial killers, their childhood, and their thirst for blood. You will see that they are as different as the colors of the rainbow. They come in all shapes and sizes.

The following chapters after that will be devoted to some extremely notorious murderers that have, sadly, walked the planet and victimized countless helpless citizens, causing them to leave this world prematurely or in unprecedented ways. It concerns these serial killers:

The Zodiac Killer
Donald Gaskins
Andrei Chikatilo
Patrick Kearney
Dennis Rader

The gruesome deaths and stories these men have left behind will be well worth the research.

Book 2: Many people try to get a grasp of what goes on in the mind of a serial killer. Today, we can at least show you a limited perspective and some solid insights in the workings of their brains. Their reasons, their background, and their murder stories will be exposed to a certain degree. The serial killers that are specifically discussed in this guide, are:

Tsutomu Miyazaki
Alexander Pichushkin
John Haigh
Paul John Knowles

If you haven’t heard of these murderers before, then now is the time. If you have, then you will probably find these facts and stories particularly interesting as well.

Book 3: Today, some of the most notorious, gruesome serial killers will be explained: Their history, their first murders, and their constant escape from the authorities until the death trials or the unanticipated disappearance of said killers.

The brutal rapes, mutilation, murders and stories by the following killers will be laid forth:

Ted Bundy
Jack the Ripper
Luis Garavito
Ahmad Suradji
Charles Cullen
William Bonin

Undoubtedly, some of these names sound familiar. I invite you to learn of their past, their decisions, their manipulation and deception, and their arrests.

Chapter 1: The 4 Kinds of Serial Killers

Presently, there are 4 main types of serial killers listed, with many different subcategories noted under each. And the list goes on and on. Plus, depending on the nature of their criminal offense, they are either classified as organized or disorganized. Organized serial killers have a tendency to be rather smart, usually having IQ scores that are ranging from 105 all the way to 120. Each part of their criminal activity is planned out well in advance, and the serial killer take each precaution to make sure that they leave zero evidence behind to link them to a murder. It is not uncommon for this kind of psychopath to watch possible victims for days to find someone they consider a great target. Unorganized serial killers tend to have lower IQ scores than average, which are varying from 80 to 95. These sort of murderers rarely plan out their actions, and they appear to kill people at random, normally those that happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. They usually don't take the additional precautions to conceal or remove any evidence of the crime, and they tend to travel from one state to another, and even to other nations, to keep away from being captured by the authorities. For more qualities on organized and disordered killers, you can follow this link.

The four main types of serial killers based by the type of criminal offense they commit are as follows: thrill seekers, mission-oriented, visionary killers, and power/control seekers.

Thrill seekers are serial killers that see outsmarting the law as some sort of amusement. They enjoy attention from the media and they also enjoy being went after by the cops. They can be distinguished from other serial killers because of the fact that they send out messages to others and they keep detailed records of their killings. Just because of this, it is rational to say that most excitement seekers can be classified as organized, but at the exact same time they do not always plan every little thing out ahead of time. For that, they are also seen as unorganized killers. Thrill seekers generally use weapons and/or rape their victims before killing them. And after this, they hide the victim's lifeless body and they move on to their next victim, that is, unless obviously they are caught in the act of doing so. It gives them a rush of dopamine and excitement that they can get away with murder or some crime and be smarter than other people by out-manuevering them.

Mission-oriented serial killers are the ones that feel they are doing civilization a favor by ridding it of certain people; those could be young women, women of the street, drug dealers, or homosexuals, people they feel that civilization could do without. Those murderers are typically not psychotic. Some see themselves as trying to improve our civilization. Their idealism of getting rid of people they classify as harmful or bad makes them believe in a black-and-white image and become judges of character. They simply ignore all the factors that typically go into someone turning into a prostitute, crack dealer, or some other lowlife in society and ignore the potential for recovery. Instead, they reason that society would be better off without them entirely. They always have a controlled criminal offense scene, hence categorizing them as organized makes them a lot easier to track. Though, since these murderers always pursue specific victims, this makes them much easier to find.

Visionary serial killers are those who occasionally experience psychotic breaks from society. And sometimes, they think that they're another person, or they are compelled to murder by higher beings such as God or the Devil. Actually, the 2 most common subcategories for visionary serial killers are demon-mandated and God-mandated. David Berkowitz is an example of a murderer like that. He had claimed that a satanic force transferred orders to him through his next-door neighbor's dog that told him to kill. Because visionary murderers have a tendency to be more messy than other killers, they're extremely simple to find.

Power and Control serial killers enjoy their victim's terror, suffering and shrieking. Those murderers tend to be really organized and they generally have a history of youth abuse, which left them feeling powerless and inadequete as adults. Lots of these murderers also sexually abuse their victims, but they are not inspired by emotions of desire. To them, raping is simply another way of controlling their victim.

Besides these 4 basic categories listed, there are also lots of other subcategories that make serial killers special based on their killing rituals and the nature of their criminal offenses. This is an example: black Widow is the title given to female serial killers, simply because it is known that a female black widow spider always kills and absorbs its mate after laying her eggs. There are also serial killers that murder another person after already killing somebody else. These sort of serial killers are called spree killers. Desire killers are serial killers that harm their victims largely for sexual stimulation, and there are murderers that form clubs that kill for sacrifice and approval into the group; these are called group killers, but are more typically described as cults. Mass murderers are the serial killers who take the lives of large groups of people at one time, killing without any particular targets in mind, but rather just to kill for their own satisfaction.

Serial killlers can also keep mementos or keepsakes of their victims when they are dead. Robert Keppel, an American detective and law enforcement officer (now retired), placed these collections into 2 classifications: mementos and trophies. Souvenirs or keepsakes are personal products which allow the murderer to enjoy their memories of specific crimes they committed. Those can be things like jewelry, body parts, and other items pertaining to the victim. Prizes are items that serial killers can make into a shrine, creating a collection of specific items from their past criminal offenses.

    Chapter 2: The Zodiac Killer

The Zodiac Killer was responsible for several killings in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1960s. He was never arrested.

    Who Was the Zodiac Killer?

The self-proclaimed Zodiac Killer was straight linked to at the very least five murders in Northern California in 1968 and 1969 and could have been responsible for more. He teased police and made threats through letters sent out to area papers from 1969 to 1974, before abruptly stopping communication. In spite of intensive examinations, no one was ever detained for the criminal offenses and the case remains open. The secret surrounding the murders has been the subject of many books and motion pictures, including but not
