Chapter 1: The 4 Kinds of Serial Killers
Presently, there are 4 main types of serial killers listed, with many different subcategories noted under each. And the list goes on and on. Plus, depending on the nature of their criminal offense, they are either classified as organized or disorganized. Organized serial killers have a tendency to be rather smart, usually having IQ scores that are ranging from 105 all the way to 120. Each part of their criminal activity is planned out well in advance, and the serial killer take each precaution to make sure that they leave zero evidence behind to link them to a murder. It is not uncommon for this kind of psychopath to watch possible victims for days to find someone they consider a great target. Unorganized serial killers tend to have lower IQ scores than average, which are varying from 80 to 95. These sort of murderers rarely plan out their actions, and they appear to kill people at random, normally those that happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. They usually don't take the additional precautions to conceal or remove any evidence of the crime, and they tend to travel from one state to another, and even to other nations, to keep away from being captured by the authorities. They can be distinguished from other serial killers because of the fact that they send out messages to others and they keep detailed records of their killings. Just because of this, it is rational to say that most excitement seekers can be classified as organized, but at the
