    NKONGHO CHANTAL ETAKA is a Senior French-English Translator at the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED) Cameroon. She did an extensive study in the domain of Languages and Linguistics. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Yaounde and a Master of Arts degree in Language Industry and Translation from the Higher Institute of Translation, Interpretation ad Communication (ISTIC) Yaounde. Chantal has translated a lot of books, texts and documents in various fields. She also has good skills in final eye and editing.

    Chapter 1

    Using the main roads, Abigail had already left. As hours went by, cars became scare on the roads, which also became less important. From wide arterial roads, she took the main and later the sub roads. Finally, as she went inland, she had to take the roads that were barely passable, as this was the only way to reach the remote place where her father had always lived. She hadn't returned since his death several years ago. She had always rejected that fateful moment of sorting out the last outstanding matters.

    At moment, she feels it's time to go back to her roots, without always having in mind that other life's have been better than hers. She had to turn a new page.
