About this ebook

"Pluto's Cure" follows the adventure of Nero, an andriod living in a synthetic world, under the thumb of his human creators. With a thrist for revenge and a loathing for all things organic, how will Nero fare when he's the only hope for society's lowest of the low?

"Seeing Double" Having a twin who exists to irk you is bad enough, but a neighbor who wants nothing more than to use your remains to fertilize his rose garden? Mark is convinced the elderly man next door is a serial killer, using the resident spook house as his evil lair. Now it seems he has his sights set on Mark. Is this a case for the neighborhood's self proclaimed wonder brothers, or should the truth have remained behind closed doors?

"Guardian Angel" Running a pawn shop in a dying town is hard enough. Running a magical pawn shop is another story. Angel had become use to the mundane of lifting curses, swaping trinkets, and dodging insults hurled his way from more conservative folks. Routine is thrown to the wind when the madman with the mirror comes to visit. It seems the universe has a new task for the Gurdian Angel.

All this and more in the e-book collection THE ODD AND THE OUTCASTS.

    Pluto’s Cure

A menagerie of sparks and flames, the electricity in the air danced on my heated skin, a gold coin gliding between my fingers. This must be what fireworks were like back when they existed. Freedom.

My revelry was cut short, a tick in the temple, a twitch of the sensors. Two heat signatures, one coming from the left, another from behind. Someone had a death wish.

Hands where I can see ‘em, the poor sucker said, his pea shooter excuse of a firearm pointed at the back of my head.

A stout man, flesh stuffed into garments two sizes too small. A can of spoiled meat, thrashing in a pair of leather boots that puckered at the toes. Mesmerized by the corners of his ridiculous mustache, I turned to face him. The thought of such a furry abomination clinging to his sweaty lip made my nose itch. If the plan was to make me ill he could at least succeed in that.

James, get your ass out here.

A fumble in the dark, a frightened yelp. Out from the shadows stalked a boy no older than twenty. This one’s never pleased a woman, never had the kind of slum booze that put hair on your chest just to burn it off. He most definitely never shot a man before. Where was he even aiming? At this point Father was beginning to
