Coriland: The Forbidden Town is a fantasy that contains several messages.
It teaches us to overcome our internal fears and to trust who can help us in the face of adversity.
It teaches us not to belittle the native communities, in this case, the Amazonians, who have a different lifestyle but who struggle day after day to conserve their lands and culture.
It warns us of the care and protection of the jungle. In recent years, it has lost more than two million hectares due to the afforestation of its forests; this has caused the harpy eagle, blue macaw, black caiman and other species to be in danger of extinction.
Illegal mining has contaminated much of the Amazon River with mercury, affecting public health, as well as the fish, reptiles and other species that live in it.
Calling us to awareness… What can we do to save the lung of the world?

Nos advierte a no menospreciar a las comunidades nativas, en este caso las amazónicas, que poseen diferente estilo de vida pero que luchan día tras día por conservar sus tierras y su cultura.
Nos enseña del cuidado y protección de la selva. En los últimos años ha perdido más de dos millones de hectáreas debido a la deforestación de sus bosques; esto ha ocasionado que el águila arpía, el guacamayo azul, el caimán negro y otras especies, estén en peligro de extinción.

Illari Sunkuyuq was born in Peru on May 28, 1982. She graduated in journalism and worked for the first time in a Catholic radio station “Radio Maria”, followed by eight years at the second most important radio station of her country, “CPN Radio”, where she worked in various areas. She is married and a mother of two children. In November 2018 she published her first book: “Kuntur: Fight for freedom”, a novel of general fiction which was exhibited in the London Book Fair 2019 and the biggest book fair in the world in Frankfurt 2019. ***** Illari Sunkuyuq nació en Perú, el 28 de mayo de 1982.
