About this ebook
It is an afternoon like many others, in the city of Tilomer. Father Osselion, a powerful green blacksmith from the Church of Tetrade, is busy translating an ancient text in the library of his cathedral when an urgent message arrives.
There has been a murder and the police ask him to go to the scene of the crime. Very soon, Father Osselion discovers the reason: the death seems to have been caused by some kind of beast, most likely a chimera, and the police need his help to solve the case.
All the entrances to the house were closed, when the body was found and there were no signs of forced entry: if it really was a chimera, how did it manage to get in? And where is it now? Father Osselion will have to use not only his deductive abilities, but also his powers to solve the riddle.
"Claws in marble" is the first story in the series "The Green Blacksmith", set in the dystopian steampunk universe of "The Pentaworld Cantos" created by Atra.

The year 1760, 23rd summer’s day on the continent of Selon.
Emnailon II District, Knight’ s Hamlet of Tilomer (Church of the Tetrade).

The yellow sun of the World of Wind was now beyond the horizon and, outside the window that had been lowered since the start of the journey, the blue sky had taken on a purple hue.
The evening air was pleasantly fresh, although that day had been particularly sultry there in Tilomer.
They had entered the Emnailon II Quarter: Father Osselion had recognized the large square from which that
