How To Shine With Art? - Magnitude 7
Why is Art Important in the World?
According to the dictionary, art is the conscious use of creative imagination and skill in creating
aesthetic objects. However, art is so diverse that there are many ways that it can be defined.
Painting might be considered like an artwork by some, is something not worth hanging on the
wall by others.
Art can take on several forms, such as music, film, theater, and pop culture. Their main goal is to
entertain and make people happy. It diversifies when songs, plays, or films are created for specific purposes or audiences. The movie was made to raise awareness for a specific subject.
Songs can be made to elicit emotions, boost morale, or inspire listeners.
Artwork can also provoke strong intellectual discussion, where norms are questions. In some
instances, it changed the way society behaves. The goal of an artist is to create a piece of art
that can convey one’s feelings, experiences, and thoughts.
Art is always part of the way humans live on the planet. Paintings and other forms of art are
known to be part of any culture. Whenever there are archeological sites dug, artworks are found
with the other artifacts.
Paintings tell meaningful stories. They tell how it was like to live during that era. It is not just
the paintings. Other artworks also reflected how people lived during that period of time. It has
been around for as long as humans existed. Whether you are aware of it or not, art is a huge part
of your life in more ways than one.
Importance of Art at Present
Art is created by the artist to move people. It is meant to inspire and provoke excitement,
outrage, and curiosity. An artist can make people act. One doesn’t think like scholars or policymakers. An artist thinks from one’s heart in order to come up with revolutionary ideas. That’s
why artists are able to make people act and influence political and cultural changes. That’s how
powerful art can be.
Paintings can make a difference in society in more ways than one. It can pull the heartstrings for
the one percent to make changes for the benefit of the majority. A painting can also catch the
attention of the masses and make sure people know about issues that are not given their proper
due to the mainstream media.
The different art forms can be used to create awareness, inspire, and entertain all at the same
time. In today’s highly globalized world, art plays a vital role in helping fight against unjust
societal issues. Through art, different cultures are given their recognition and ensure that their
identities are made known to the rest of the world.
Why Do People Love Art?
You might be wondering why people love art. You might be one of those who can’t appreciate it, which is why you are asking the question. They don’t get why there are people who enjoy art and admire the artist who creates it.
One of the reasons why people love art is because it brings them to another realm full of new concepts, possibilities, ideologies, and ideas. They identify with the artist and realize that they are not alone in the way they interpret and perceive the artwork. They view the painting as something that symbolizes universal ideas and yet brings up ideas that everyone knows but hasn’t realized yet.
Everything in life is defined by boundaries, consequences, and rules. The decisions made daily are often the result of the constant struggle between what people desire, what they think they want, and what they should want. And this is the reason why people have different interpretations and opinions on what art is about. When a person is in a gallery, one can feel attracted to painting. One can stare at the print for hours. It feels like the painting understands a person more than anyone else.
Interpretation of Art
Each person interprets an artwork in one’s own way. The person adds one’s unique flavor to the interpretation. There is no wrong interpretation. While enjoying the painting, the person loses oneself in a world made through one’s imagination.
A great work allows a person to forget about the worries in life, and transport oneself to a place away from the daily routine. Through paintings, people feel emotionally distanced, and at the same time physically rejuvenated. When a person looks at paintings or listens to beautiful music, the person becomes unaware of the surroundings. Instead, the person feels the message that the artist wants to convey.
Each artwork is incomplete. When people appreciate a print, it extends. Art lovers improve the painting and make it one’s own. The artist can only do as much. The artwork will only achieve its final form when the viewer enjoys it as much as the artist. It is the form in which the artist has imagined it to be.
People love art because it is a celebration of human achievements. It is a declaration that the artist and art lovers make to fulfill beyond their basic needs. It is a reward for what humanity has accomplished so far.
Art has a way of captivating people because of its mysterious allure. It doesn’t give a definite definition and has no direction. People love art, and at the same time don’t really know why they love it. But one time is for sure; people appreciate art in the past, at present, and in the future.
How Does Art Impact Society?
Art – the universal language that everybody on the planet speaks and it impacts society in so many different ways. The truth is that there aren’t many things that are capable of leaving a bigger market than art. Whether it’s a print, a painting, graffiti on an abandoned street wall, or a huge poster in the big city – art is something that has stamps its imprint on anyone who takes a look, listens, and smells and so on. Painting, literature, music, sculpture, entertainment – all of the art forms are usually considered to be our society’s collective memory.
