The definition of a mentor is ‘a person with experience in a job who supports and advises someone with less experience to help them develop in their work.’ I can't think of anyone who wouldn't benefit from working with a mentor in a formal or informal capacity. We're all on a learning journey and as an artist in a more solitary career than most, reaching out for support and advice makes total sense.
