Young fifteen-year-old girl gets into the wrong area, bad set of friends, and busted from the start. Her new friends draw her into fashion, looks, and popularity. Marisa turns out in the worst part of town of Juarez, Mexico. A party on the other side of the poor lite streets across the border, in the deep darkness of crime, murders, and where disappearances are common; she has only one choice to get back to the United States territory.

Cold and eerie, she joined her new click of friends and proceeded to this promising, amazing party where she crushes over the host. He lures her in with his dreamy looks, fancy clothes, and everything she lacks, to plan the right mule for the job. Red flags raised yet she is deep involved to pay attention.

With everyone gone and she has no way over the border, he convinces Marisa to stay overnight and return her to the border the following morning. Left with no other options, she stays over and trusts a complete stranger with her life. A decision that will change her for the rest of her life.

BASED ON A TRUE EVENTS

Chapter One

I am fifteen years old. Already signed up and ready for College. A little geeky and a control freak, I needed to do something crazy before I go off and enter the real world. I need to jump out of the birds nest and fly. I thought to myself, I should go to this party. A party in Juarez, Mexico. God only knows what happens over there, but I am not going by myself. I could pull it off. Bus leaves in five minutes. It will drive us over the Juarez border and back here to the parking lot.

I wanted to have a story to tell. Live an adventure. I have this humungous crush on the host of this party. I over-heard some of the details while in line at lunch. I am normally not invited but this time, I am brave enough to go. The girls keep their distances from me most of the time because I am always busy with schoolwork. They stopped hanging around and I never really made an effort. Today is going to be different.
