Voices from Beyond - Carlos G. Fernandez

    Chapter 1

    Voices from another world

    ––––––––

It's getting dark and the couple sits on the bed where their deceased little daughter slept. The room is as it was when the girl lived, with the only difference is that on the table, next to a photograph of her, there is a cassette recorder. As every week, parents are preparing to try to capture the voice of their little one with the intention of registering their voice on the tape. They begin recording and speak out loud asking you to contact them, to give them a signal that you are okay. Minutes later, they rewind the tape and listen carefully through headphones. Nothing is heard and they try again. And they repeat this simple technique until one day they think they hear a faint word, masked by the noise of the recording. A weak voice pronounces mom. They listen to it over and over again until they are convinced.

This scene It is repeated thousands of times every day in different parts of the planet, numbering around 70,000 people in some thirty countries in Europe and America who use this method as a means of relieving the pain of mourning caused by the loss of a loved one. . Thousands of people are convinced that behind this phenomenon called psychophonies is a method of communication with people who have died, where a simple recorder serves as a link for the desired contact.

Let me give you an example with first and last names.

    Diamela

Monica Costa and Juan Carlos Maldonado are parents who knew the pain of mourning when a traffic accident took the life of their only daughter. Diamela was only 16 years old and lived with her parents in Río Gallegos, in Argentine Patagonia. Diamela was the center of our universe, we all enjoyed perfect health as well as our family, we had no financial or any kind of problems, life smiled widely on us. A week later our paradise suddenly became our worst nightmare, Diamela, our beloved Diamy, died instantly in a traffic accident, recalls Monica, the mother of the deceased girl. "From then on, the pain, the desolation and the enormous desire to go with her stained every second of our existence. We handled ourselves like automaton, since our hearts,

Just three months later of the death of their daughter, and within what they consider as a causality the Argentine marriage contacted people who practiced psychophonic techniques as a means of liaison with their deceased loved ones. Following the advice of a Mexican couple who had been through a similar situation, the recordings began. And a month after starting the experiences, Mónica and Juan Carlos got the first answer: Diamy mama ... Diamela!.We will never forget that moment, recalls Mónica, the emotion we had cannot be described but I can say that after this we achieved a spiritual serenity, an inner peace like we had never had since it gave us the certain hope of a reunion when we have to leave and the wonderful certainty that our beloved Diamy .

Monica Costa She is a doctor by profession. Her scientific training led her to rigorously analyze each of the results until she was fully convinced that her daughter continued to live. After years of experimentation, the Argentine couple has more than 1,500 answers to their questions, some of excellent quality and beautiful content.

The experience of communication with her deceased daughter through psychophonies opened the doors to a totally different life since we began to see the death and existence of man from another point of view. No matter how long a life lasts, what matters is that he took it and left it for others. Diamela I believe that she fully fulfilled her earthly plan. Today, we continue to form a family, a team, since we know that love can open all doors ... even those of eternity, if that is our desire, concludes Monica.

If the experience of this marriage is representative of a transcommunication 'contact', the case of the TCI Argentine Group, which meets every first Saturday of the month in a central neighborhood of the Argentine capital, summarizes the spirit and the search for the 'transcoms' like no other.

    ––––––––

    Sharing experiences

Little bit little by little the room fills up with people. One by one they sit in the chairs located around a table presided over by a microphone and several recorders. The Group meets once again to hear the alleged voices of their deceased loved ones that they have recorded; Although they also hope to exchange experiences and find out about the latest news. Some attendees are regular at these meetings and have been recording psychophonies for years. Others have just arrived and come to learn the techniques or share their interest in TCI.

One of the members of the Group, Luis Mariani, takes the microphone and greets those present, thus starting the new meeting. Then Amalia, another of the founders of the group, clarifies to the newcomers that it is a group of people united by common circumstances manifested by the disappearance of a loved one from this earthly world. It also adds that "no

we are a sect nor do we make moral or religious distinctions and that the function of the group is to teach the technique that they lovingly taught us ".

After hearing testimonies, sharing experiences and listening to some of the voices recorded by the regulars of these meetings, the group takes a break to chat informally. Then, those who arrive for the first time listen carefully to Luis's instructions, while explaining how the technique is used to record the voices of their loved ones. A blank tape, a tape recorder to record voices, an external microphone and a lot of patience are the necessary ingredients to achieve communication that will alleviate the pain of having lost a loved one after being convinced that he continues to live somewhere else.

The TCI Argentine Group began its journey in 1998 after learning about the experience of the marriage formed by Marivonne and Yvon Dray and their contacts with their deceased daughter Karine. A television program with a large audience broadcast in Buenos Aires where contacts through the Drays' psychophonies with their deceased young daughter were reported motivated a group of Argentine parents who were in mourning to start their own experimentation. Thus was born this group, which adopted the name of Infinite Journey to the Light that would have been received through communication with the next world.

A Once they were convinced of the viability of these techniques to communicate with their loved ones, they decided to organize, since July 2000, periodic meetings where they could teach the techniques to other people who had gone through the bitter situation of losing a loved one.

The TCI is a technique that allows communication with our loved ones who are in another plane of existence and listen to their voices through electronic instruments in common use. It is yet another reaffirmation that death does not exist, it is simply a transition to another plane of existence, explained Luis Mariani. Thus, it considers that TCI is not a privilege for some, we can all achieve it if we do it with Love, Faith and Perseverance. In this way, 'Infinite Journey to the Light' does not carry out TCI practices for third parties, since it is a personal technique that requires conviction, Faith, Love and Hope.

So, the simple techniques TCI become an instrument available to everyone, without intermediaries likely to have personal or petty interests. And the TCI Argentine Group considers this premise in its entirety: We are not an association, we are a group. We do not compel anyone to come to our meetings nor do we exclude anyone. There is no hierarchical function in the group. The only authority is the one that gives us the sole fact of belonging to it and respecting its principles, said Luis.

Several hundred people have passed by the meetings of the Argentine Group of TCI. And there were more than a few who found the answers they were looking for.

    ––––––––

    Contacts with the other world

Maybe It is the lack of certainties and the difficult acceptance of irreversible events such as death - even more so when they occur prematurely or traumaticly - that drives people to try to contact their loved ones. And this is nothing new, since practically all human societies have used the most diverse methods - dreams, hallucinogenic drugs and other similar means - to see, hear or feel those who have already left this world.

But psychophonies arise as a different means of connection for this intended communication. And not only because they offer independent 'evidence' of the senses (the voices are recorded on an audio tape, which can hardly hallucinate), but also because it needs no other intermediary than a simple recorder. Thus, psychophonies do not need shamans, neither mediums nor gurus. Not much less of tricksters or swindlers who present themselves as such.

The psychophonic voices they are only part of a set of phenomena called 'paranormal' that are interpreted as a communication with the other world where the link medium is an electronic device. Thus, the supposed contacts with the afterlife occur –although less frequently- also through the radio, where the voices speak directly; but also by means of telephone calls, messages on computers and through images obtained on television screens. For a few decades, this set of paranormal phenomena has been called, interpreted as a kind of communication with other planes of existence, and most especially with people who have passed away, with the generic name of Instrumental Transcommunication (TCI).

TCI it is much more than the belief in a contact with the afterlife, it is a way of understanding life and it is also an incipient philosophical and social movement. Many thousands of 'transcommunicators' are attached to different groups and associations, where newsletters are published to learn about the latest techniques and findings, they organize practical meetings and seminars to use this contact technique, and some inventors have even set out to develop specially designed equipment for better communication.

Alone in Brazil, the members of the different associations of 'transcommunicators' far exceed one thousand. In America there are associations and support groups in the US, Chile and Argentina, although with partners throughout the continent.

In Europe, the French association Infinitude - created by Monique Simonet and Jacques Blanc Garin - has no less than 1,700 partners who are seeking communication through the TCI, a consolation for the loss of a loved relative. Similar organizations have emerged in Italy, Belgium, and other Western European countries. In the United States, and by extension in much of the Anglo-Saxon world, the film's premiere in early 2005

'White Noise, Beyond' shot interest in this means of alleged contact with the world of the deceased. Thus, the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena (AAEVP) - chaired by the marriage between Tom and Lisa Butler - received tens of thousands of emails when before the entity only had just 400 members.

    ––––––––

    A useful phenomenon

I insist where TCI is much more than just a 'paranormal' phenomenon. Its importance extends to its social significance, its technical characteristics and the information received through these practices, which configure its own vision of what the world is like beyond death.

Behind the TCI you guess an incipient movement, a philosophy to understand life and death; but also a phenomenon that is sometimes difficult to understand, despite being rich in nuances and interpretations. And also a phenomenon that, although at times seems impossible, could revolutionize our way of life.

Thousands of people around the world are searching for a contact, but whose voices are they? Do they really belong to deceased people? How do they sound? What do they say? How are they recorded? How reliable are they?

In 1997, many questions and few certainties prompted me to accept the invitation of a small group of friends to begin research and experimentation in this phenomenon. My technical training, especially in electronics, added a new incentive to this challenge, which added to my interest in so-called paranormal phenomena in general. Burdened with doubts, although with marked illusion, I devoured dozens of books on this subject, most of them with some difficulty, written in languages that were foreign to me, since the bibliography that exists in Spanish on this subject is scarce. Books, magazines and fanzines

In English, French, Italian and Portuguese they were of great help to us to start an investigation that would bring us some surprises.

I didn't know then that I could hear how the voices (apparently modulated from the world where the deceased live) would be recorded on hundreds of magnetic tapes, but over time they would go directly out of a radio speaker to have conversations, would leave their messages on mobile and landlines, would call me by my first and last name, and would be the protagonists of many other equally surprising phenomena that I wanted to share with the readers of this book.

But Through these pages you will not find only a handful of personal experiences. My role in this research from the beginning was that of a critical observer, knowledgeable of the devices and technologies that were used, and essentially motivated by knowing a phenomenon that until then had been little investigated, without the need to personally establish any contact. This book gathers these experiences, but also includes those of many other researchers who, for more than a century, have been witnesses and protagonists of surprising events. It also aims to analyze the causes and effects on people and machines, and review the latest discoveries that computer science and technique have brought to the study of paranormal voices, especially in the last decade.

And it would not be a complete job if the basic notions to experiment in this exciting phenomenon were not included in these pages, always under the premise that they are accessible techniques, not excessively expensive and most importantly: they do not need intermediaries.

For this reason the reader will find a chapter dedicated to knowing the basic keys of experimentation, which in any case

constitutes the best tool to judgethis phenomenon. There will also be time to learn about the ongoing investigations, not only in the alleged communication through voices but also images, and to analyze all the keys that are known so far about these phenomena.

To not extend myself morein preambles let me start from the beginning. And it is one of the first things that I discovered in this research is that psychophonic voices are much older than they seem and are present throughout the evolution of devices capable of registering sounds.

    Episode 2

    The first contacts

    ––––––––

In the early 20th century, tens of thousands of people had embraced the doctrine of spirits. The deceased seemed to have found a method to communicate with the living fifty years ago, when the Fox sisters - in Hydesville (New York) - elaborated a code to supposedly dialogue with the dead through beatings. Several thousand imitated his techniques and later established more refined ones, which over the years allowed the elaboration of a doctrine and a philosophy 'dictated' by the spirits, especially compiled and widely disclosed by a Frenchman, Hyppolite Leon Denizard Rivail, better known like Allan Kardec.

Thousands and thousands of pages were filled with messages from the spirits in America and Europe, in which 'communications' with the afterlife were reported through different methods. The 'disembodied' presented as a guarantee of their presence different physical phenomena associated with the alleged communication, such as the blows that made the Fox sisters famous, 'direct voices' (of which we will speak later), emptied, movement of objects and a long rosary of phenomena, some of them tremendously strange and of doubtful veracity.

On the other hand, back then electronics began to offer the possibilities of technological communication, unthinkable years ago. And first telegraphs, then radios and telephones, burst into the daily lives of thousands of people around the world. A real revolution in communications was beginning, where distances seemed to be shortening by leaps and bounds.

And at that time the first 'dictates' of the 'spirits' arose that advocated technological contacts with deceased people. Proof of this is the following 'message'

apparently revealed to a medium in 1930 and published a few years later by Suzanne Max-Getting, under the title 'Messages from a free spirit': In one of the passages the text said:

..As for the paper of the mediums in the future, we will speak to you through phonographs and you will see us at the cinematograph.
