    Chapter 12

    Final Chapter

The clock struck 9 pm, but Tony was still working in his office. He had to get that presentation done by Tuesday or he could wave bye-bye to his promotion. The wind whistled outside and made his little desk light wobble as the wind blew faster and harder, knocking outside the fogged windows.

Ahhhh, who am I kidding? he gasped as he packed his things to get ready to leave.

AHHHH he screamed as he bruised his finger with his briefcase zipper.

This job is killing me, he said, as his hand started to tremble.

It must be the overwork, he said, as he struggled to get his computer in his briefcase.

His veins started to pop out of his skin and started to swell even more into his skin until they were on bursting out his skin

    "What the...

His veins popped out of all his body and he bled to death instantly.

When forensics examined the odd death, they were surprised instantly

The case was in headlines saying MYSTERIOUS MAN COMMITS SUICIDE.

After examination of the body, it was clear what had happened to Tony was not suicide nor murder, but a disposing of a host.

Multiple autopsies were made and forensics were unsuccessful to find the virus.

It is in there! We just need more time, said Jack, a forensic scientist with two degrees in biology.

The forensic department had denied any more autopsies on Tony's body due to budget cuts and safety concerns.

The virus was not considered stable and could be contagious.

    Just one more!Jack screamed desperately

No! Mr mast, his boss said, We cannot afford being sued again by the health department, so don’t ask again or you’re fired!.

Jack left the office quietly whispering you’ll wish you had let me find it. Their blood will be on your hands.

The next morning, Jack was leaving for New York for a case. He couldn’t stop thinking about that virus and if Mr. Mast was right. What if it was contagious? What if someone got it, or worse spread it?

Ding the airplane ringed and said we are reaching 10,000 feet

Jack felt a little tingle. He was not very used to flying and started feeling butterflies in his stomach. He felt nauseous and stood up to go to the toilet. He tried to puke but couldn't, and when he finally felt like it, he tried to puke but couldn't. He kept trying until...

    He felt his jaw snap.

    ––––––––

This is not a cause to panic, the cause of death will be investigated and we have it all under control. Mr. Mast said to the press.

The CIA was in a big problem due to the plane situation.

Track all the people that were on that plane and send them to a doctor.

    Mr.Mast left for his house.

The rain hit the car's metal roof violently, tapping it repeatedly and briskly scratching the surface. Mr. Mast turned on the radio which said: The case of Jack Rest: suicide or something else? spoke the radio.

Mr.Mast angrily hit his wobbling plastic steering wheel as he thought it had to come, but why now? Why now!?!He said as he left his tiny worn-out car. The leather was peeling off the worn-out brown seats, the color looked depressing, and the springs screeched every time weight was put on them. The dented door hit
