The Breath of God

The Bible says that he himself [God] gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need there is (Acts 17:25). What is your need today? If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with asthma, you need to experience the life and the breath of God!

When God created Adam, He formed him from the dust of the ground, and then He breathed into Adam the "breath of life." It was at that point that Adam became a living person. (See Genesis 2:7.) In the Garden of Eden, both Adam and Eve had perfectly whole bodies. Before sin entered the world, there was no sickness, no germs, no disease of any kind.

However, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, sin and its consequences—sickness, disease and death—were allowed to enter the world, and mankind has been dealing with its repercussions ever since. The good news is that sickness and disease were not God’s idea! It breaks His heart when His children suffer, and because of His great love for us, He has provided a way out by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sins.

Jesus’ death on the cross purchased our salvation—not only for us to spend all of eternity in God’s presence, but also so that we can experience the life of God in this life here on earth. God’s will is that not one of His precious children suffers from the disease of asthma. Because of what Jesus has done, the breath of God is available to each of us.
