After the suicide of fashion guru Kate Spade, the friends get together and decide that they want to do it fashion to that focuses on suicide prevention. Losing an icon in the fashion industry calls the friend to have their own form of severe discomfort, depression, and anxiety.
Kelly was impacted the most because she just decided to quit her job at the New York Times to pursue fashion journalism. The news of Kate's death put her in a tailspin, and woke up within her, a new realization of a desire she had been denying.
A Few Good Friends and a Movement of Suicide Prevention
Kelly is about t quit her life sucking job at the New York Times to pursue her Journalism degree in fashion when she gets the sad news that Kate Spade committed suicide. Her friends all come together again to see what they can do to create a movement that helps disabled people to use their mighty powers with a purpose of preventing suicide. On the train ride home, Kelly looks into her Kate Spade handbag causing ideas and tears to flow.
Their plan is to have a fashion show where they can promote acceptance in the idustry that had just lost an icon. What if we could go on tour and show others how to be more accepting and forgiving?
In this young adult novel series the main character (Kelly) shows us how she goes about her life with a disability. Her friends JC, Rebecca and Tiffany all add flavor to Kelly's journey. Look out for a secret attraction on Kelly's life.
Author Win Charles is a young writer with Cerebral Palsy who has created a young adult novel series about a group of friends who go through life as disabled people living with challenges while pursuing their biggest dreams.

Win Kelly Charles is an author, educator and mentor. As an athlete, Win Kelly Charles has competed in the Kona Iron Man Triathlete as the first person with Cerebral Palsy to be invited to the games. As an author she enjoyed 2 Bestselling books Her first published book I, Win was her debut as an author. She has also personally authored three young adult novels, “The View from my Heels” and “The View from my Makeup Collection”. She is also currently working on her first of many children’s books to educate parents and children about embracing differences among each other. In addition to her memoir and novels, Win has co-authored 2 Bestselling books and plans to become a New York Times Bestselling Author by the end of 2016. Win also became a published Huffington Post author in 2015 and intends to write more blog articles as the year winds down. She is a staunch advocate for raising awareness that disabled men, women and children also have abilities to do great things as evident by her success.
