    BECK & MAYO BAY

A dispersed ray of light slanted through the drapes in the biggest room of the farmhouse. Dust motes danced lazily in the sunlight, and a cool breeze blew right into the room and caressed the face of its only occupant. Birds chirped happily on the Narra tree just at the left-wing of the house. A faint bark, followed by quick heavy pawing on the hardwood became clearer as Coco darted into the passage that led to the room. He slipped as he took a sharp turn into the room and barked leaping on Beck, who was barely awake. She rolled over and, with a grateful smile, spread her arms around him.

After she'd poured out Coco's food on his plate, she set out to clean the farmhouse and feed the animals. Coco joined her in seeing that the animals were doing just fine and accompanied her to the house, where she had her bath and prepared to open the Tavern, on the opposite side of the compound.

Allison's Tavern was one of the favorite spots for the people of Mayo Bay. Located close to the entrance of the quiet town, Allison's Tavern served as a comfortable place for relaxation and shelter. It was best known
