Introduction

I’ve loved going to the movies all my life.  As I’ve gotten older, I found myself also enjoying film critics and news outlets reporting the behind-the-scenes business of Hollywood.

With YouTube I’d come to discover and follow several pundits such as the Schmoes Knows crew, Grace Randolph, Chris Stuckman, and John Campea.  They would review movies and report on the ongoings in the industry.  I was fascinated by this and thought, I want to do that in some fashion. 

So I started taking notes for movies I’d go see in theaters(not on my phone but a traditional notebook and pen).  Afterwards, I’d go home and formulate my thoughts.  This would then become a podcast or a video on my own YouTube channel. 

Today my reviews have extended into the streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu.  It’s nice to critique content at home.

As of this writing I’ve been doing this for the last 3-4 years.  It’s been a fun ride and involving friends has been great.  I’ve even done a couple of audio reviews with a couple of dates! 

This is a small collection of my movie and TV reviews by date of publication(on the podcast and/or blog).  I think you can see my progression as a writer over time, but I will admit the formatting can be a little all over the place.
