"The Chronicles of Heroes and Misfits" encapsulates nine stories dealing with subjects that will push the hero to his absolute limits, testing their will to see what lays beyond the shades of grey.

"The Void" is a thriller that makes you question if chasing after your desires are genuinely worth the horrors that come with pursuing it. Four unknowing souls go out into a wooden hut that wraps them to a dimension outside of earth. Only two come back with something intact—their lives.

"The Shadow Man" is a Sci-fi noir-style investigation of a notorious hitman that cleans out an entire bar of outlaws. A Police captain tracks him to the most bottomless abyss that the crime-infested underworld has to offer.

"Misfit" is about a group of four childhood friends that get caught in a wild goose chase with the cops as they weave there way around the sci-fi city of Alessa in the fictional nation of Warren.

"A Sword in the Dark" is about a rogue assassin with mystical powers that slithers his way past the guards to this prized kill, the king of the fantasy kingdom of Nerian.

"Out of Options" is about a sci-fi rebellion dealing with the oppression of the new world order established by the Supreme Dictator Lewis Irons as try and fight back and free their home.

"Centurion's Regret" is about a commander in the Grand Roman Empire dealing with rebels on the outskirts of the Empire. He questions his leadership as he wishes to go back to a time before his life took a turn for the worst.

"Proxima" is about a high school tech geek who lives a double life as a superhero trying to keep his town, his friends and family, and his crush safe from anything that comes his way.

"That Day at the Theater" is a tragic story of loss as a mysterious plot takes the life of a beloved politician and father as his son begins his quest to seek vengeance on his father's killer.

"The Ranch" is about questioning how alone we are in the universe as a mysterious call from a farmer about his murdered cow with alien hieroglyphics engraved on its corpse, leaves the sheriff running for his life.

The Void

The Void. It’s a nameless, spiteful, and ruthless spirt who craves sacrifice. It lives in a plain of space between our world, but not being physically present. It takes you to its home, a place you are taken too. It would resemble something like a potent lucid dream. It pulls four unfortunate souls into its domain. Which this entity calls its playground. 

The Contract

The Void preys upon the broken minds of humans. Some that are desperate, sad, or alone. Emotions that empower the Void. You’ll never see a person with light in the soul in his domain. They heed the Voids words, damning themselves to the unknown fate of whatever The Void promised them. The Void breaks every rule of space and time in its purest evil and twisted form. 

The Void makes you a promise when he calls upon you, whatever that moral wants. That could be happiness, power, or love. Whatever they desired; you just follow its instructions. You’ll hear it in your mind. Let it guide you to the entrance to its small pocket dimension near, The Shadows Grove. Enter the old wooden shack to the east, then close your eyes. 

The Champion

But first, before you get what you want, you must play a game. Made up by the Void with its own rules. You must survive the Champion. A monstrous, towering figure of rage and anger personified. A broad-shouldered beast with the appearance of an eight-foot-tall human man. It cannot be harmed by mortals. It wears a mask, made up of bones of The Lost. The Lost being people that failed to leave this plain due to their greed or arrogance. They have perished, leaving only bone. There once prideful soul now drained empty with desperation. Now just husks of what they once were. The mask has a row of sharp jagged teeth that line the mouth in a sinister grin. Finally, the small holes for the blank black eyes that peer through this hellish mask. 

His role in The Void’s domain is to patrol the grounds. To rule the dimension like a shepherd of The Lost. Keeping their lifeless body away from there soul trying to get back into their bodies. The souls power The Void domain, growing and infesting space and time. Every soul taken, the Void makes the Champion stronger as his reward for his
