Get Lost - Jitendra Bhatt
Foreword
If you are looking for a more fulfilling life or a successful future or creating (or manifesting) something meaningful and innovative, then here is a simple formula : Get Lost as the title of this book says. How? well, read all chapters carefully and you will find some ways yourself!
All that I share in the following pages may probably find relevance to almost everybody at some or the other milestone in his or her life. Sit back and rewind pages of your life on the screen of your mind and you will find something that really matches to what is written here. This is especially true if you look at your life - events and achievements and failures and joys - deeply rather than superficially.
For past three decades my life has actively taken me through excellent experiences comprising of few terrific downs and challenges followed by successful career and also exponential growth like some interesting ride. At times on auto-pilot mode and at times with self-disciplined under control mode. Lately I started thinking on how and what really happened all through this wonderful journey that took me from a modest start to remarkable growth.
Why it is that many a times I wanted to do something and outcome was completely contrary to what was intended in the first place? Why I started shivering, at times, after taking decisions and why it was quite thrilling at some other time? Why life took certain turns that got to be different - for worse or for better - than initially perceived? what was the formula that I was knowingly or unknowingly applying? And this must be a case with almost all of you, I am sure…
I have met some, seen many, observed so many and read about a number of people - inventors, artists, speakers, businessmen, industrialists as well as great political leaders. Are we different from any of these successful people fundamentally? No. They are same like us irrespective of color, sex, religion, ethnicity or nationality. Most of those extraordinary and genius humans have come from ordinary background, had faced some or the other challenges in their early stages and in many cases even grown with financially poor surroundings. They achieved their goals and made their mark in this journey called life. What is it that led them to the path of roaring success while many others just attempted with resulting failures? What did they do differently remains a seriously big question for many - as I feel.
I have found answer to above questions and have described it with details in following pages, which sums up to a simple formula to success and prosperity. While applying this answer to my own life I have got amazing results and when I distracted myself from this ‘answer’, I have seen failures or at least less than expected outcome as well. I firmly believe, anyone who can apply it (the answer) in practice, shall achieve desired goals and that answer is : Get lost !!

Chapter 1 : What
You can make your dreams come true. Just decide, then trust you subconscious mind to guide you there… - Anonymus
A
ll of us strive to live a life so fulfilled, want to have a fabulous career, wish to excel with successful business and have a dream leading towards a prosperous future. In fact every single person wants to live a life that he or she loves living, not merely aging.
Being Happy, being Prosperous, being Expansive, being Successful and receiving abundance is our birth right - there can be no doubt about it. Each and Every member of the human species on the face of this planet - irrespective of cast, creed, religion, nationality, ethnicity or sex - stands equal prerogative to have prosperity and abundance he or she dreams about. And certainly most of us work sincerely hard to achieve what we desire.
Quite interestingly, whatever we absolutely want is already existing, somewhere unseen. However the fact is, we are not in the position to practically experience and see result until we have actually manifested it or brought the desired outcome to reality. Anything we genuinely desire carries strong probability to shape itself into its equivalent physical form.
But, then why many a times we do not get what we yearn for, despite our efforts and wishes and hard-work and prayers and rituals and so called lucky periods, is really a big question. We see a lot of people expressing dissatisfaction, sometimes even with apparently very valid arguments, that they did all they could do to achieve results and applied all sorts of practices and determined attempts, but they often failed to bring in results that were expected.
Fair enough, yes, probably they did work hard indeed, they did dream of grand success for their goals, they did make clear plans, but somehow happened to find themselves standing far from succeeding. Why? What is it that keeps them away from materializing what they dream about? There should be some reason that prevents them from realizing desired achievement that, otherwise, they well deserve.
And that reason is this: Most of those times they remain, or rather keep themselves, unattached from the very part and process of achieving that goal. They think, but do not become one with the goal. They work hard, but do not unite with action. They get acutely stressed out due to hardship and feel exhausted, but do not develop feeling of passion with what they contemplate.
N -number of books are written and many personal growth teachers and Motivational Gurus and life coaches and counsellors have been talking about bringing in surest results - with the help of the Law of attraction, Bending Reality, Destiny tuning, Success Hypnosis, Subconscious Rebooting and many other heterogenous manifestation theories on ‘what to do’ - and achieve success or prosperity.
I have read quite a few books and have attended some seminars and a number of webinars, too. I must admit that they are all inspiring. They are very catchy and convincing, too. Those personality development Gurus and life coaches and motivational speakers are genius and really very smart and learned, presenting exemplary ideas on what to do . They appear, speak and represent their views so nicely, giving us an impression that by holding this ‘magic wand’ they offer to us, we are almost going to accomplish all our dreams miraculously in a jiffy. And, certainly, let us accept that most of them motivate at times by supercharging energy levels and put us afloat the high tides of emotions. We get fired up with that mesmerizing spark felt inside us when we attend them and listen to their presentations.
Yet, when you practice, in a lot of cases, you would realize that some how you are not able to get results which are either promised or the ones you yourself desired. You could not bring out that genius which very well resides inside you. You could not create what you really dreamed about.
You may try to figure out if anything out there is missing, any loophole, any gap, any reason or something that you forgot to apply from your side. Mind gets confused when we are almost guaranteed on having something great, but on the contrary we receive mediocre outcome upon sincere efforts, despite following all that is taught.
Now, here is the catch that you must recognize and hold firmly in your mind: You are the Subject. They are only Objects . Unless a subject is internally equipped for transformation, object can not do much for it is as good as providing fuel to a car that is not engaged with gears yet ! Nobody, I reassert, no body can and will cook your food by putting his pot on the fire (unless of course, if he wants to donate his meals). All objects - personality development gurus and life coaches, seminars, webinars and books - are of no use, if you - the subjects - are not ready to take along what is radically needed for accomplishing your own dream. You need to ‘prepare' yourself to manifest and to experience what you desire.
Another thing is, the teachers and coaches may pump in motivation which is but interim thrust you get as part of external energy injected by them. However, only when you fully engage yourself, you get inspiration which provides constant flow of internal energy. Temporary thrust jump starts a car in case if needed, but in order for it to drive and reach the destination, it is engagement of the engine that must continue to give constant torque. Motivation is temporary whereas inspiration is a long-lasting factor. This is my own take on motivation versus inspiration and, according to me, later is more cogent.
Besides, as I indicated above, most of the personal development channels you use can show you what to do but can not take your place and exactly demonstrate ‘how to do’ as a subject . It is like a medical practitioner prescribing some tablets for your fever without feeling that fever himself or taking medicine on behalf of you. They are not YOU. They can tell you what
, but you must learn how
. By the way, here I am not talking about How you will get success - you better leave it to Universe, but I am referring to How you should do your part to ensure you get it.
There are varying figures available from different sources and studies, but generally it is believed that much less than 5% of those who aspire to achieve earnestly desired goals, can really accomplish their dreams despite nearly all of them seemingly do everything, absolutely what is advised to do by their gurus and teachers and coaches.
Following advices and courses from teachers and coaches might help them meet their
