Holy Infant of India - Feng Qing

    LUCK

    CHAPTER 301 - CONFUSION

I asked him what he could do.

He said that in the part of India where the Pamir Plateau and the Tibetan Plateau were connected, there was a place called Plain, which belonged to the border regions of China, India, and Nepal, specifically Nepal, where there was a team of explorers who spent most of their time on the Pamir Plateau and the Tibetan Plateau at the border of the three countries, conducting various geological and physical surveys. The teams were folk, but they could freely access these border areas.

This is a perfect solution for me. There's no other way apart from this. It's better to die than to live on. Then I'll just do it!

Thus, I made a prompt decision and was willing to listen to Samit's arrangements.

Samit did not stay idle and immediately called the other party, who very decisively agreed to his request.

He said that he would have a car to pick me up in the county town in a week.

Samit asked him, could he hurry up? A week was too long! The other party said that since none of the men from their survey team were in India now, they had to come here to pick me up, so it would take at least a week.

Samit said that you must hurry up and wait for your news.

After hanging up, Samit left a lot of instructions before he went to sleep.

A week later, news came, telling me to go to a small town bus stop in Baroda at 10pm tomorrow. A pickup truck came to pick me up.

Samit prepared some daily necessities for me, bought a big backpack and stored these things inside, saying that there were still some self-defense items inside, such as knives, sprays of hot pepper water, and being able to save myself at any time in times of danger. Finally, he gave me a bank card, which contained 5 million rupees, saying that's all I could do, so I could take care of myself over there, and stay in touch whenever I needed money.

I nodded. At the same time, I instructed him to tell my Second Uncle that he mustn't let my parents know about this matter. It might not be long before I return, so there's no need to tell them about it.

Samit shook his head and did not say anything. I asked him what was wrong, and after a long while, he raised his head and looked at me and said, Do you think that after killing quite a few people, you can return?

My heart thumped, and I instantly cried.

Tears flowing down my face, I bid farewell to Samit and set foot on the road to Nepal.

In order not to be discovered, I was armed to the teeth and arrived at the small town. Along the way, I saw countless wanted posters of information and felt an indescribable sadness in my heart. I didn't know how many more dangers awaited me.

Very quickly, a medium-sized bus arrived at the agreed location, and the driver carefully asked me, Is it Zhang Yang? I said yes! The driver nodded and motioned for me to get in.

So I got in the car and followed him.

The driver was also part of the survey team, and his main job was to drive.

We drove for a day and a night, and I didn't know where we were. When we got out of the car, we were at a seaside with a small cruise ship that looked like it could hold forty or fifty people.

Two or three people from the shore came to meet us and help me with my luggage.

I packed my backpack and followed them into the boat. After entering, I found that the interior was lavishly decorated, and there were more than twenty people inside the cabin. After inquiring, I found out that the exploration team worked in very difficult conditions, and many of them couldn't bear the environment.

Several times before the boat left, I wanted to get off and go home.

I never dreamed that I would end up like this today, but when I thought about it, I wondered how many policemen were looking for me the moment I left the ship.

With a dull whistle, the boat pulled away.

For the past half month, I had been safe on the ship, and the strange thing was that my leg no longer bled.

This morning, the superintendent came to the cabin and told us that we had crossed the high seas to the Rajasthan steppes in the Alawaliri Mountains in the north-east of India, where the expedition was conducting an exploration mission and we needed to meet up with them.

That is to say, I have reached the end point and am about to begin my formal life of escape.

I packed my bags confidently, and when the boat docked, we all got off the boat, one by one, and came to shore. We climbed over a big hill, and saw, not far away, a few strangely shaped vehicles of unknown shape, and more than a dozen people working with various instruments.

The sun on the Rajasthan prairie was so poisonous that I felt a little dizzy.

The captain said that since this was a grassland, it was the same living environment in Africa, and it was always at this temperature.

The ship had turned back, and now there were two white Europeans in charge. They were probably too hot, too.

The two of them arrived at the riverside, probably to see if they could take a bath. Unexpectedly, they were startled when they arrived! The river was more than four meters away from the height of our cliff, so high that we couldn't even reach the edge of the water.

One of the white men muttered something, swore something, and looked at me with that look of contempt.

I was accompanied by a Chinese called Mighty, who was from Hebei. He asked me why those two white men were always looking at us with provocative eyes.

I chuckled and told him that it was fine, that there were many places where people were unpopular and normal, so there was no need to take it to heart.

He gave a vigorous oh and did not say anything else.

I told Energetic that white people all have a sense of superiority, always look down on colored people, this is not a big thing, just endure it.

Who knew that the white man actually said eight.

Scolding someone in Japanese, that's what makes us angry.

This time, he wasn't going to use force. Energetic is a northerner, was a soldier, character straightforward and resolute.

It turned out that the two white men were the regular staff of the survey team, because they were not working here but were just passing by, but the survey team needed to meet us here, so they stopped to wait for us.

The two white men could not stand the heat of the sun. They had cursed all the way, and now that they saw us Asians, it was probably because they were angrier than ever.

We Chinese people are very disgusted with the Japanese language of cursing, and one of them, as we all know, couldn't hold it in any longer, so he jumped over and pointed at the two white men and said, What the hell are you talking about?

Energetic was a huge man around 1.8 meters tall, and was not at a disadvantage against these two Caucasians.

The two white men were shocked. They didn't expect that we would dare to resist so they subconsciously took half a step back. That sense of superiority that came naturally from them flared up again.

No one expected that Powerful Kick was so powerful that he kicked out. The white man was caught off guard and one of them was kicked into the sky.

The other person saw this and was stunned for a moment. Then, he exclaimed, Oh, kungfu! He took a step back and put on a look as if he was watching a good show.

The fallen white man got up from the ground, a little angry from embarrassment. He rushed forward and started to fight with all his might.

The onlookers at the side said that the managers hired by the boss were all retired American soldiers. This was going to be a good show to watch. If they tried too hard, they might get beaten half to death.

Seeing that his comrade had suffered a loss, the other white man stopped watching and came over to help. This time, it was his turn to take the blow.

Seeing that they are about to take action from far away and will be at a disadvantage, this group of people who are prepared to go to work hard all gathered around. Seeing this, the two stewards on the boat also ran over to maintain order. However, they let us workers misunderstand their intentions and began pushing and shoving each other. It seemed that a chaotic battle was about to break out.

When I saw the situation, I immediately felt that something was amiss. If they really started fighting like this and the police arrived, wouldn't I be in trouble? I'm more nervous than anyone, so I yell, Don't move! After saying that, I squeezed into the crowd.

But the scene instantly turned chaotic. No one listened to me at all.

In the middle of the crowd, the two white men held onto the huge force, trying to force it down. The two of them pressed forward with great force, and the veins on his head bulged as he gritted his teeth and used all his strength to persevere.

Looking at this scene, I couldn't help but feel a little angry. Two against one, what kind of skill is that?

I turned around and walked behind the two of them. I placed my left and right hands on each of their armpits.

The armpit of a person was originally the weakest part of him. When the two security guards were caught unawares, this move sent the two of them to a distance of two meters away. Fortunately, the onlookers were close enough so the two of them did not fall down.

Exhausted, Energetic dropped to the ground, gasping for air.

He was not afraid of bad things, but he was afraid of bad people. What he said was true. Just as things were slowly getting better, an Indian came out of nowhere and shouted with a big grin, Chinese kung fu against the United States, first round, start!

At this moment, the onlookers were in high spirits. Their attention immediately fell on me and the two white men who had fallen to the ground. The whistles and cheers and jeers from the onlookers immediately became loud.

The two white men really stood up and prepared to fight. Then, they looked at me with hostility.

I thought, This is going to be trouble. However, the onlookers did not see this as the boredom and loneliness in their hearts after the long sea voyage had nowhere to amuse them. It was just a game to be played.

Even the employees present felt the same way. They thought that I had some skills and wanted to seize the opportunity to broaden my horizons. Thus, they urged me to make these two white men suffer a bit. Even Energetic Force, who had just gotten up from the ground, said beside me, Let's take care of these two brats properly, so that they won't look down on us.

In that case, they might as well risk it all and teach these white men a lesson. Otherwise, they would have to work in the future. It would be better to let them suffer now than in the future. Thinking of this, I also began to posture.

Seeing that I was ready to fight, the crowd was even happier. Applause, whistles, and cheers rose and fell.

The white men approached me defiantly, talking about Comeon, Baby. Comeon.

I can't even beat these two American soldiers, let alone a 1v2! But at this point, I had to bite the bullet.

One of the white men rushed forward, and I kicked out with my right leg, and something funny happened.

Just as he was about to fall to the ground, my reaction was also very fast. The moment he fell to the ground, I kicked towards his stomach and that guy was instantly sent flying. The white guy behind him collided with the one in front of him due to his ferocious momentum, causing both of them to fall to the ground.

However, the audience didn't see that he tripped over a rock and thought I was the one who kicked him into the air. The crowd broke out in an uproar and started cheering for him.

He stopped when he saw something good. I made a friendly gesture and went over to each of them and pulled them up. One of them no longer had the courage to fight on, seeing that this dispute was about to end peacefully.

To the onlookers, the process ended too quickly. It was as if they wanted to continue.

CHAPTER 302 - FORCED TO FLEE

Hi, boys. MCC!" With a shout, another white man got up from the ground, took off his jacket, showed off his strong muscles, shook his arms, and cracked the knuckles of his hands.

With a hoho, the interest of the people who were eager to stir up trouble returned. The person who came was the leader of the exploration team, Dick. A contest between the two captains was going to be interesting to watch.

I couldn't help but secretly complain in my heart. The main reason why I won just now was due to luck.

I didn't want to fight, but the onlookers didn't want to give up this opportunity to watch the show and repeatedly make a ruckus. The people present now decided that I was an expert in hiding.

While I was still stunned, the white man kicked me right in the chest, causing me to fall over.

There was a hiss from the crowd. No one had expected that I would suddenly be defeated.

I stood up, enduring the pain, and I decided I was going to keep this up.

It's said that a look can kill a person, so I walk towards him with an angry look in my eyes, as if a fierce battle is about to begin.

But suddenly, the white man seemed to have changed. He was standing on the edge of the cliff, and we all saw him rapidly descending!

At this time, someone from the crowd shouted, Not good! It has collapsed! Quickly save them!

The cracks in the ground widened at a rate visible to the human eye, and the white man disappeared from sight with a look of horror. Crack! The falling tree collided with the bus that was preparing to take us down. The trunk broke and the crown fell into the river below.

I know, the grassland has a lot of sand. During the rainy season, the water in the river was very deep. The water pressure instead became the force that stabilized the embankment's earth cliff. Now that the rainy season had passed, the water pressure in the river would disappear and the earth cliff would no longer be safe. When the bus stopped at the top of the cliff, the cliff had already reached a critical point. With the increasing pressure, the cliff became more and more dangerous. In the end, the cliff was crushed.

The people at the edge of the cliff cried out in alarm, causing the people at the front to fall down as well. Fortunately, they were a bit further away, but their waists were covered by the collapsed cliff. People rushed over to save them, quickly pulling up the few people who had fallen down. Only the white man closest to the edge of the cliff was nowhere to be seen, and most of the front of the bus had been buried as well.

Then I heard a babble of voices, and a few local dark-skinned children on a hill nearby ran off shouting something.

At this time, I shouted loudly, don't just stand there. Save him, quickly save him!

We didn't have time to figure out what was going on with the children. People were looking for tools to jump off the crumbling cliff, and no one was falling on the soft ground, but where was the white man?

The coach fell diagonally into the water, half buried by the soil of the cliff. The engine was still roaring, and someone stepped on the soft soil of the cliff and went over to extinguish the fire to prevent the car from leaking out of the oil.

When the cliff collapsed, the white man was stuck between the tree and the water purification truck. People's hearts couldn't help but tighten. If a tree was broken, how was a person? No matter what, it was more important to save him first.

Some of them used tools, some used their hands to dig, but after seven or eight minutes, they didn't even see anyone.

At this moment, I was as anxious as the others. I felt helpless but also blamed myself. It's fine if I was unlucky, but why did I cause that white man to lose his life?

This was good, but it was possible that there would be another life. However, no one here blamed me. I didn't feel responsible to begin with, and I was too busy trying to save people to care.

Just then, Dazzling Spring and a native with a face full of anxiety found me.

You still have the heart to save a life here, quickly run!

These words of Energetic Strength confused me. Why should I run?

A few natives saw you hit Lestat and probably reported it to the tribal police. You're going to die.

Lestat, as he put it, was the white man who had fallen.

I still didn't get it. What did it have to do with the tribal police after Lester was beaten?

After taking a deep breath, he organized his thoughts and pointed to the aboriginal beside him. Previously, this aboriginal had found me and said that the status of the whites in this country was very high. Their laws specifically protected the whites. Just now, those kids were shouting 'kill the white man' and went to report it to the tribal police. This aboriginal also said that the tribal police in this country are very powerful.

He said a few more words in English to the aboriginal, who kept nodding his head. The meaning of his words seemed to be as strong as his words. That was the meaning of his words.

    But I'm a foreigner. I can't use the law here, can I?

You don't know, we haven't even reached the borders of Nepal yet. We're still in the region of India, and this is the most barbarous and backward part of India, and they only recognize Taiwan, not China, and we're still illegal, and if we get caught, we're going to get a felony, and we're even going back to Taiwan.

The native looked at me with a puzzled expression and chattered another round of English.

The general meaning was that the laws of this place were very strict. If someone caught stealing something, they would be able to chop off their hand on the spot. The tribal police were also the ones who were most willing to deal with cases of white people being hurt. They would kill the white people on the spot if they caught them and hand them over to the government. Now you're the only one who's left. If the tribal police can't catch you, then there's nothing left to do.

I said, how about I hide first?

To hide? Where are we hiding? This is their territory.

Seeing that I was still in vain, the native's voice suddenly grew louder as he anxiously shouted at me. If you are caught by the tribal police, it will implicate everyone. All men will be dragged down, sent to toil and die.

As soon as I said that, the aboriginal stepped forward and grabbed my arm, and ran towards the nearest slope, closely following me. As they climbed up the hill, the natives pointed to a small village about a mile away. From afar, they could see a few African natives carrying guns rushing over with the help of a few kids. They should be able to reach the village within ten minutes.

My heart went cold. It seems like it's true. How am I so unlucky? Why am I the only one who got into trouble!

I don't blame you for this, but if the tribal police go after the illegal border crossing, we're finished.

I was anxious too. I was about to cry. F * ck, this is a f * cking grassland, where are you telling me to go!?

Asking the aboriginal where I should run to, the aboriginal took out a worn-out map from his body and pointed at it while saying a lot more.

The child pointed to a line between brown and blue on the map, and told me that to the south was the densely populated area of the Alawa Territory. And this is the border between Nepal and India, about 150 kilometers from here, only a few days walk, after crossing the border is Nepal, there, it is easy to call us again.

The native ran quickly up the slope again, then shouted down the slope, saying loudly, Come on, the tribesmen will be here soon. As he spoke, his face was filled with an imploring expression.

I gritted my teeth and made up my mind. Let's go! I ran to the car and grabbed my backpack.

When I got out of the car, I saw the natives take out a gun from their waists. When they saw me coming, they quickly handed it to me along with the holster. He opened his mouth to say something, but in the end, he didn't say it. He patted my shoulder and left.

Looking at the native's anxious expression and Mighty's helplessness, I feigned a relaxed smile and walked towards the cliff that had just collapsed. That place is the closest to the water surface, making it the easiest place to cross the river.

When I jumped off the cliff, I ran expressionlessly through the crowd and waded into the river. I wish there were a miracle, and Lestat was saved, and he was not dead. But was that possible? Almost 20 minutes had passed.

    CHAPTER 303 - RAJASTHAN STEPPE

The water went deeper and deeper, and when I reached the deepest part of the water, my waterproof backpack floated up. I borrowed the strength of my feet to pump the water, and soon the river, which was thirty or forty meters wide, was left behind. The backpack that Samit bought for me was of good quality. Right now, I am trying my best to not think of anything else to prevent myself from thinking of sad things.

Climbing the cliff on the other side of the river, I strode for a while, and suddenly heard a noise behind me. He turned around and saw a few natives with guns standing on the cliff, aiming their guns in his direction.

I quickly lied down, Tap, tap tap tap … From the sound of it, it sounded like the AK-47's shot. Although it was already far away, it wasn't a joke to fire it. If I was too careless, it would still take my life.

I walked into a patch of grass and crawled carefully to the left for a while, trying not to touch the grass around me.

After a while, I had crawled over 200 meters. I stopped and looked behind a large patch of grass. In the distance, I could still see some people climbing up and down the cliff from time to time, but I couldn't see any signs of the natives of the prairie.

Where was he? Gone? It can't be? But I wish they were gone.

Just as he was thinking of this, a black face peeked out from the grass in the direction of the cliff, followed by another, and then another two …

F * ck, they've already crossed the river and caught up!

Not daring to get up, I lowered myself and ran south. The clothes I'd wet over the river clung to my body, making me feel very uncomfortable, but I didn't have time to tidy them up now. After running for a short distance, he saw a depression spread out in front of him, extending to the southeast.

Was it no more than that? I hesitated. It was impossible to tell whether this place was a normal muddy ground or a swamp. If it really was a swamp, they would have to wait for their deaths if they sunk in.

But now, the pursuers were getting closer and closer? Go or not?

Squatting down to cover my body with grass, looking at the pursuers closing in on me, I steeled my heart and walked down into the hollow.

I was still careful at first, but after walking for a while and finding the ground more solid, I let go. Walking in the depression, you don't have to bow your body to move forward anymore, the speed at which you move is greatly increased.

There were a lot of animals in the depression, about two kilometers away. There were rabbits, elven mongoose, and quite a few that could be named. At the far end of the depression I saw what seemed to be a village, and I dared not go any further. I walked out of the depression and climbed the high slope, covering myself with grass and looking back to see if my pursuers were still there.

As far as the eyes could see, it was a field of withered yellow. There was no one to be seen in the pursuers.

But this wasn't the time to relax either. I looked at the gun I'd been holding in my hand, the kind of gun that could scare thieves on the streets and shoot aboriginals with AK47s. I've never played with a real gun and I don't know how to use it. No matter what, he definitely couldn't throw it away. If he stayed, it might be useful for his self-defense. So I put the gun in my backpack.

Having done this, I picked up my backpack and continued south.

However, right now, my heart is firmly telling me that I must live on. I can't die, I must cure my leg, and when I have the chance to return alive, I must live on and let Kelly know how regretful she is for betraying me!

I looked up at the sky and shouted, If you have the guts, kill me!

After he shouted, he felt much better.

After walking for a while, the pursuers were nowhere to be seen. They lay on the ground and quietly listened. I confirmed that they had lost their pursuers. He found a bush and sat down, wiping the sweat off his forehead. The sun in this prairie was really not a joke. The sun was shining down on them, and the heat would make them dizzy if they walked for too long.

My clothes were already almost dry. Thinking that I still had three hundred miles to go, I took off my pants along with my underwear and threw them into my backpack. I empty-handed put on my pants. The weather in the prairie is really too hot.

Then I took a roll of leggings from my backpack and began to tie my own, one of the preparations for a long walk. There were many poisonous insects and substances in the prairie, so it was much safer to put on leggings. It was also not easy to be hung by all sorts of weeds and thistles and thorns on one's pants. These are all the necessities for survival in the wild that Samit had prepared for me, I never thought that they would all be used.

He looked at my wound and saw that it was still bleeding, but at the moment it was still fine. It didn't hurt or tickle or bleed. I hope I didn't lose too much blood during this process. That would be troublesome.

Just as I stand up, I immediately squat down. Unknowingly, the pursuers have already caught up to a place less than 200 meters behind me.

I was too careless. Damn, I really did it fast. I thought I had lost him!

Stealthily observing from the underbrush, he saw that there were only three people. He remembered that there were more than one of them, so he guessed that they had split up and moved out together.

In the background of the withered grass, it was easy to spot a person walking around. Right now, the person was most likely in danger from the other party shooting at him. What could he do? If he ran, he definitely wouldn't be able to run away from the bullets. Unless it was his last resort, he wouldn't dare bet his life on the guns of these tribal police officers.

Kill them? I was startled by the thought that popped into my head. Was it necessary to kill someone? If he had to do it, would it cause the tribal police to pursue him and cause an international dispute? I was originally here to run for my life. If I don't become an international wanted criminal, then I really won't have a place to go!

Nepal, when I think back to the news, I've heard the name of this country before. In my memory, this country seems very poor.

    Da Da Da …

Just as I was wondering how to deal with this situation, I heard a shot coming from the west. Judging by the distance, it was probably a few hundred meters away. A few of the local police officers heard the shot and immediately ran towards the sound of the shot like rabbits.

If he didn't run now, then when!

When I saw the tribesmen running west without looking back, I bent my back and ran south as well.

It seemed like his luck wasn't too bad. It didn't matter why they were shooting. He couldn't afford to lose this opportunity.

He ran for twenty minutes, sweating profusely. At first I ran with my back bent, but then I couldn't see the back of the tribal police anymore.

He ran away, not even noticing the startled birds behind him.

I ran all the way to a river before stopping. My pursuers should be far away. This river was much wider than the one before.

I walked east along the rise and fall of the river bank. On the way, I saw a few small trees. I took a short knife from my backpack and cut down a small tree. I wanted to be a walking stick, because my lame leg was a bit difficult to walk on. With a walking stick, it would be much easier.

Indeed, I had been alerted. At this moment, the two Tribal Police forces had already grouped together and were approaching me.

In the distance, the tribesmen saw a three-meter-tall tree shaking on my side and chased after me with a shout.

While sighing at these few fellows who were lingering around, I silently cursed myself for being too careless. I had already done it twice. If it weren't for my good luck, I would have already been done for. Sigh, luck? When did he get lucky? Could it be that he had started to transport them away?

Without time to think, I ran east along the river. Although the tribesmen could see me, the target was out of range, and they didn't shoot.

As he ran, a large flock of birds appeared on a red soil cliff in front of him. With the flocks of birds coming together, the same flocks of birds on the other side of the river also flew up in fright. Although it could not be said to cover the sky, there were at least over a thousand colorful long-tailed birds flying in the sky.

I turned my gaze to the other side of the cliff. On the dark red cliff, there were hundreds of birds nests like the caves in northern Shaanxi. The whole cliff formed a flock of birds.

    Opportunity! Luck couldn't be stopped!

Seeing that the cliff top wasn't very high, I jumped down. The mud was soft on the bank, and the water wasn't very deep. I swam across with my rucksack. He wanted to throw the backpack onto the top of the cliff and tried twice, but to no avail. He simply carried the bag on his back, threw the stick, and climbed along the slightly sloping cliff. He could still climb up the cliff to where there was a bird hole.

The arrival of my uninvited guest startled all the birds, who cried out in alarm, and threw themselves upon my head and face, so that I did not dare to raise my head, but endured the dust and sand which the wings stirred, and from time to time the beak of the birds pecked and the beating of the wings, and climbed up the stairs, step by step.

With the help of these natural ladders, it took me only a few seconds to cross the river. He said his apologies to the frightened flock of birds. Seeing that the pursuers were about to arrive, he hurriedly ran towards the south without stopping.

After running for a while and looking back, I saw a few native policemen standing on the other side of the river, looking at me from afar. They didn't seem to want to chase me, so they stopped and looked at them, panting.

Far away, one of the natives raised his hand and said something loudly in my direction, too far to hear. I picked up a clod of dirt from the ground and threw it at him. Then I raised my middle finger at him, which he probably couldn't see, and spat at them in an exaggerated way.

The aboriginals stood for a while longer, as if saying something, then they picked up their guns and walked slowly north.

Why did he stop chasing? I'm a little confused. Just then, the other side had pursued him very closely. Could he have some tricks up his sleeves? It was best to be careful.

Thinking of this, I didn't dawdle any longer and quickened my pace towards the south. After walking for a while, I felt uncomfortable. My clothes had been wet from crossing the river, and I still hadn't dried yet. I looked up and saw that the sun was no longer blazing in the west.

Suddenly, I came to my senses. I used to take out my watch from my backpack, but it was already 5 PM. It would be dark in a few more days. So that's how it was. It was very likely that they had returned after seeing that the sky was about to turn dark. It would probably be very dangerous to chase them down in the night of the prairie.

    CHAPTER 304 - PRAIRIE SCENERY

Only now did I have the time to raise my head and carefully observe the plains beneath my feet.

Danger! This was the first time I felt this way ever since I had seen these plains. Clumps of green trees, sparse or sparse, scattered far and near on the dry yellow prairie grass. On the withered yellow prairie, there were animals wandering about in groups of twos and threes.

I don't know how many unknown dangers lurk in the prairie. Maybe leopards are watching me from the grass now, more than 120 kilometers per hour. Or maybe hungry lions, salivating, are preparing to eat themselves for dinner.

I am a little regretful, isn't my decision to flee too hasty?

However, when he thought about it again, he realized that there was no turning back. The aboriginals were chasing him. Other than the dangerous grassland in front of him, did he have anywhere else to go?

Besides, he also had a powerful spear in his hand. How could he not walk a few hundred miles across the prairie? Four days at most. What was happening now was to arrange a place to sleep tonight, so that no animal on the prairie would appear for dinner at any time.

With that in mind, I began to walk carefully toward the nearest patch of wood. There were a few trees there that I told me about when I first got off the boat. They were called acacia trees, also known as baobab trees. There were trees everywhere on the prairie, and its thick shape could be seen from a distance. It was because it had stored too much water during the rainy season, so whenever people saw it, they would have water to drink. Unfortunately, the season was not right, otherwise, the fruits on the trees would have been very good. I've been running all afternoon and I'm really thirsty.

As I got closer, I became more cautious. I often heard that the closer I got to the water source, the more dangerous it was on the prairie. I wondered if there was any danger under these trees. While walking, he carefully observed the dozen or so trees to see if there were any problems. However, after learning the lesson of getting rid of the local police twice and getting close to them twice, I circled the tree that was made of a dozen or so trees. After confirming again that there was no danger, I arrived in front of an acacia tree.

I took out my knife and stabbed a hole in the bark. As the bark cracked, a stream of water slowly shot out from the hole. I pressed my mouth against it, and after inhaling for a minute or so, I began to feel less thirsty. Plugging the hole in the tree with one hand, he took the kettle out of his backpack and placed it against the hole, letting the water in the hole fill it up. Keep it for spare.

By the time the water was full and the sky had begun to darken, I squeezed the earth from the ground and stuck it in the hole to block the water, so as to prevent the water from draining out of the tree.

Putting away the canteen, he picked up his backpack and continued to observe the surrounding plains while pondering about tonight's camp. It's certainly not safe on the ground. Even if you have a lighter in your bag, the fire can scare off animals, but it can also attract people. Furthermore, it was a dry season. A single mistake could ignite the entire prairie, which would be troublesome.

After walking only a short distance, I chose the camp for the night — a tree with the mouth of a bowl.

It wasn't very thick and was very easy to climb. More importantly, once someone launched an attack, he or she would be able to escape into the tree and hide himself or her gun for a while.

I swept the grass in front of me with my stick, and came to the tree. I climbed up and sat on the top of the tree. I leaned over and tested it out.

After all this, the sun was close to the horizon.

He untied his leggings, relaxed, and opened his backpack in the last light of day. Inside were two large bags of instant noodles, which he had kept untouched despite having been unaccustomed to the ship's diet.

Sigh, facing the slowly sinking sun, I still sigh. Helplessness, unwillingness, sadness …

He finished the instant noodles and drank some water. After cleaning the leftover instant noodles, I suddenly remembered that I made a small mistake. A few days ago, when I was eating on the boat, the dishes were very light, so I deliberately took a bottle of salt from the kitchen and put it in my bag. After that, others saw that it was used for a while and then forgot to put it in my bag. Salt was a necessity for the human body. If one did not eat salt in the wild for a long period of time, they would not have any physical strength. When it was serious, they would become dehydrated and die.

There should be no problem, there should be salt in the seasoning bag. Besides, it was just a few days' time since he had arrived in Nepal, it was just over a hundred kilometers away.

The sun left only a hint of red in the horizon. As the sun sank below the horizon, the sky filled with darkness.

In the dark, I fasten my backpack to the tree, tie it around my waist with my backpack, and hang it on another branch so that the two branches on my back will be broken off at the same time and I won't fall down. He placed the cane on the spot and made sure it was safe before lying down. Try to relax your body, relax your nerves, and sleep as soon as possible.

In the distance, the sounds of insects interweaved with the soft sounds of animals in the depths of the prairie, forming a melody of the dark night. In the distance, the low cries of various animals could be heard. For many animals, their day had just begun.

At this moment, oh... Oh... A few strange sounds could be heard, and from time to time, a few dim lights would flash across the dark prairie. What was this? Why does it sound like a street hoodlum making a ruckus? The sounds grew more and more numerous as time went by. They were short and long. They were a bunch of people.

The moon gradually rose, but compared to the darkness of the prairie, the little bit of moonlight was better than nothing. What entered his eyes was still full of darkness.

The sounds of the animals were still persistent, as if they were communicating with each other, discussing tonight's plan of action.

Montaigne, what is this country really like? Slowly, I fell asleep.

    Ahh! Ahh!

    Oh — — oh — —

A high-pitched cry rang out from very close by, waking me up from my slumber with great difficulty. With an exasperated sigh, he turned his head to the side and saw dozens of shimmering spots, swaying under the trees where I had taken the water during the day, slowly moving closer to where he was.

The sounds were getting closer and closer, like a group of ignorant children chattering away. I couldn't sleep anymore, so I rolled over and looked at the tree quietly with my face turned to the side.

From the darkness, I could see the thing, with its round ears and sharp beak, its front legs longer than its hind legs, and I knew what it was. It was a prairie dog, as I had seen it so often in the animal world. Wild dogs were not a stray dog's idea, but a breed. Wild dogs were not domestic dogs. These wild dogs were similar to wolves in that they ate raw meat in groups.

One or two, coming from all directions, gathered under the tree where I was, and the rustling of the dogs grew louder.

Some of the wild dogs kept sniffing in the air, some were whining and circling the trees, some had their front paws on the trees and were looking up at me.

Listening to the increasingly noisy sounds, I was a little scared.

However, I suddenly had an idea. I adjusted my breathing a few times, then took a deep breath.

    Ah — ah — ah — ah!

The dogs were trying to figure out what I was, when they heard a thunderous roar above their heads, and the whole pack suddenly stopped, and then they scattered into the darkness of the prairie, and in the blink of an eye they were all gone.

Not only did the sound waves I shouted scared away the wild dogs, even the entire prairie quieted down. The reptiles and animals were all listening attentively in fear. Just what kind of monster had arrived?

Hahaha … After completing my prank, I smiled and immediately felt a lot better. I went to sleep with a smile on my face.

When I woke up, it was already morning. I stretched lazily. Since I chased away the wild dogs last night, the grassland had become much quieter, allowing me a good night's sleep.

Leaning on the tree, one could see the morning sunlight gently sprinkling on the withered yellow grassland. There was a trace of moist air in the air.

While appreciating the scenery of the prairie, I adjusted my mind to recover my strength. I ate a small piece of dry rations and didn't dare to eat too much. I didn't know what would happen in the future. After finishing his meal, Zhang Xuan packed up his belongings, tied his leg up, and jumped down from the tree. Under the tree, there were traces of running dogs. It seemed that there were a lot of wild dogs last night.

I added water from the acacia tree, then rapped the grass and headed south.

After walking south for more than an hour, the prairie seemed even more open, with gnus, zebras, and antelope scattered all over the prairie, leisurely eating their grass.

In fact, this feeling was pretty good. While enjoying the scenery of the prairie, he also didn't have such a complete set of animals in the zoo. It was just that he was a bit hungry and needed to get something to eat.

Just as I was thinking of this, I suddenly heard an extremely nimble thing stand before my eyes: a cobra!

I was startled by the sudden change. My right hand had already touched my gun holster. When I saw that it was a snake, I immediately relaxed. This is simply a delicacy delivered to my doorstep. Snakes are often seen in our village, and catching them is our forte!

The stick in my left hand was about to sweep at the cobra's neck when I saw the cobra's body flinch back. Not good! My instinctive reaction caused me to roll away while hugging my cane.

    Sizzle ~ ~.

I stood up on the other side with my head in my hands, and a stream of clear liquid splattered where I had been standing.

That was close. I secretly sighed and threw the bag at the snake with my right hand. Then, carefully, I leaned forward with my stick. The snake had just crawled out of the bag when my staff struck the head of the snake.

I didn't have the time to pick up my backpack, so I waved my cane around and looked at my body again. After checking to make sure nothing was out of the ordinary, I finally relaxed and picked up the dead snake.

    CHAPTER 305 - LION

With such a powerful force acting on its nasal cavity, the degree of pain could be imagined. The lion immediately loosened its claws and suddenly fell from the tree. A few lions that were looking up from below were hit. The pride of lions was thrown into chaos as low roars and roars rose and fell.

However, the lion did not leave. After a while, the lion herd quieted down and the 'bone' female lion was pushed forward. It seemed like this was the resolution of the lion herd. Its mission was to climb the tree.

The wounded Lioness crouched under the tree for a moment, unable to muster the courage to climb again, but unable to resist the urging of her companion. The lion slowly stood up, preparing to climb the
