Born in a teachers' family in a village of Assam, a province of India, Borah started his journey of writing at a tender age of eleven. He published two novels in Assamese language and other fictional and non-fictional stories in Assamese periodicals during his college days. Then Borah almost stopped his literary activity for more than three decades. In the meantime he became a Gender specialist.However,so far, he has published more than one hundred and sixty five books on this platform in English and one book in Hindi within a span of five years. The books are on different topics like inspiration,romance and love, humour, ghosts, suspense thriller, children etc and those are written both in prose and poetry.Eight English and two Assamese books are also available in printed form. 2nd edition of his first book, 'Random Thoughts' is also in the public domain.

    Preface

    It is the dramatic version of my fictitious romantic novel ‘Three Goddesses and Only One Rascal’ where the protagonist was destined to marry three very beautiful and honest ladies. For the readers who have not gone through the novel, the following lines are written to know about the story line of the drama. The life of the protagonist, Kanak Barua was of full of romance and he was always faithful to his three wives during his married life with them. However, he articulated his married life in such a way that all the three wives loved him from their core of hearts all along in their married life. He had always been open to his wives keeping only one fact in the bottom of his heart from each one of them.

    Sunaina was his first love and he maintained a very honest and dignified love with her, till her unfortunate death. But from Sunaina, he had hidden one fact from her in the entire life of Sunaina; Sunaina was not his first lady with whom he had slept for one night much before he met Sunaina.

    Sarala loved him from her teens. But Kanak never loved her from his heart. She was however, extremely happy that she was the first lady with whom Kanak slept for the first time. Again Sarala was not informed that before his marriage with her, he developed an emotional relation with another young lady, Jamuna.

    From Jamuna, he kept one fact as a secret. The secret fact was that he had liking for a particular professional only because she used to behave like Sunaina on bed.

    There are some similarities and dis-similarities in the emotional lives of these three gorgeous ladies. Sarala was an honest village damsel madly in love with a handsome young man who happened to be the son of the master of her father. Sarala’s love was blind love of a teenaged lover who used love each and everything of her young lover. She overlooked all the negative points of Kanak. Sunaina was an urban sophisticated young lady, who was honest and extremely empathetic to the downtrodden. They have mutual respect for each other. Both were madly in love with each other. On the other hand, Jamuna did not love Kanak initially as she had a boyfriend and also Kanak was no more a attractive person for a young lady. It was just opposite to Sarala- Kanak story. Kanak was madly in love with Jamuna and waited for more than four years to have the young lady as his wife. However, as a lover and as a wife she was always truthful to her husband all along. The similarity of all the love affairs is that, during their conjugal life they love each other without any artificiality and impurity. They stood by their spouses like solid rocks and defended their spouses on all the issues came up during their conjugal life.

    The young ladies, Jahnabi, Pinky and an unknown Marathi lady (Courtesy: Google free photo of a Marathi girl) featuring on the cover page have nothing to do with the story on true love of three wives for Kanak Barua. The names of the cities are real, historical references are taken from different books (authenticity is not certified), but the characters are all imaginary.

    I am thankful to three beautiful ladies for giving their photographs to be used on the cover page of the book. Thanks to my readers and friends and above all my family members for their constant support to write something usual and unusual. I love them all.

    Scene I

    (Inside an opulent house, Kanak, around 58 and his wife, Jamuna 36 are making themselves ready for going to office.)

    Kanak Barua: Will you drop me at my office today?

    Jamuna :Why? Driver is not coming?

    Kanak: No, he has gone to a marriage party and will be back by 1 PM only.

    Jamuna: Ok dear. I shall drop you. But I shall drive. I know you prefer to drive yourself and you do not have any confidence in my driving.

    Kanak: As you wish, darling after all you are the boss.

    (Jamuna drops Kanak at his office. Kanak goes to his office. A peon opens the door and Kanak sits in a big room with beautiful furniture having two sets of sofa sets and a large table and a beautiful large chair with six visitors’ chair)

    Scene II

    (In a large house in a village of Assam, Savitri Barua wife of Zamindar Bikram Barua, is looking at their studious son Kanak, about ten years in age, reading some books. Tea and snacks are served to him by the Head maid, Phunuki Aunty.

    A poor widow comes weeping and whispers to Savitri Barua. Savitri Barua’s face becomes gloomy immediately. Out of curiosity and fear for unexpected news, Kanak tries to approach his mother, but his mother admonishes him)

    Savitri Barua: Kanak go from here. You are too young to hear what we are talking about.

    (Kanak leaves the place but from a hidden place, he tries to find out what is going on.)

    The widow: My daughter is still bleeding and is in a shock.

    Savitri Barua: Phunuki, call Bibeka’s father immediately.

    (Bikram Barua enters to the room)

    Bikram Barua: Why you are calling me during my study time? (Clear irritation in his face)

    Savitri Barua; Right now, it is more important than your study. (Then she whispers at her husband’s ear. His face becomes serious.)

    Bikram Barua: Kaniya, call the doctor.

    (Kaniya comes, nodes and goes out. Bikram Barua moves around the room with lot of anxiety in his face. Doctor enters to the room.)

    Bikram Barua: Please treat the girl immediately at her residence.

    (He hands over a packet of cash to the doctor)

    Doctor: Do not worry sir. All of us are your men only. We are getting always your blessings.

    (The Doctor leaves the scene. Then Bikram Barua tells the widow.)

    Bikram Barua: Do not worry everything will be alright. (Barua hands over a packet of cash to the widow.) Do not tell anyone about the incident. Unnecessarily she will be disrepute in the society.

    (The widow leaves the place)

    (After few days)

    Savitri Barua: Bibekananda came back from my brother’s house.

    Bikram Barua: Call him.

    (Sarala leaves the room. Bibekananda enters to the room. Bikram Barua slaps his son)

    Bikram Barua: In future nobody should come to our residence with such type of silly complaints. Now you are already 20 and you should behave responsibly. In fact, I do not understand how you allow them to come to your mother with such a complaint. Always remember, nobody should dare to come to your mother with such complaint in future, even if you do those silly things to these lesser mortals! Understand? Sooner the better; you better understand.

    (Few glimpses of raping poor girls by Bibekananda without resistance from the victims will be shown symbolically).

    (A party scene: Whole Barua family was celebrating good results of Kanak.)

    Bibekananda (to Kanak): Karabi and I will always protect you like an umbrella from sun and rain. We shall stand behind you like rocks throughout our life irrespective of whether you are right or wrong in the eyes of others.

    (Both Bibekananda and Karabi hug their younger brother Kanak)

    (Keeping the signboard of Cotton College in the background Kanak should be shown as a busy student. Then he should be shown in Delhi IIT. )

    (A scene will be shown projecting Bibekananda with his wife, Namita, as winner of MLA election.)

    Scene III

    Phunuki to her husband: Bikram Barua and you had spoiled my life. He forced me to marry you, a drunkard, penniless and---.

    Kaniya: I also know many things about you. Do not force me to open my mouth.

    (Sarala and Arati come to the room and leave)

    Phunuki: Do you remember, you even did not allow your daughters to go to school.

    Kaniya; I would not have allowed. I allowed them go to school only because Savitri madam intervened by assuring me that she will bear all the educational expenditure of our daughters.

    Phunuki: What else I can expect from you.

    (Kaniya starts drinking hooch)

    Sarala (comes to the room and declares): Maa I passed 12th standard. (Phunuki embraces her.)

    Kaniya; What great thing you have done?

    (Sarala goes out of the room weeping her eyes due to her father’s discouraging comments)

    (Sarala is seen sitting with Bikash on river side as lovers without any conversation)

    Scene IV

    (Celebration of Bhogali Bihu is seen on the background. Sarala is standing on the door of her residence. She is in deep thought. Kanak enters into scene with a bottle of Rum wrapping in a newspaper in his hand.)

    Kanak: Sarala, are you waiting for someone? Where is Uncle and where is Aunty?

    (His question brings Sarala to the ground reality)

    Sarala: (With stammering): Dad is inside. Mom and sister went to maternal uncle’s house.

    (Kaniya appears before them)

    Kanak: Uncle I brought it from Guwahati only for you. (He hands over the bottle of Rum to Kaniya.)

    Kaniya: I know you love me, my son. Unfortunately Aunt is not at home today. But please do not worry; Sarala will give you tea and snacks. Please do not go before taking tea and snacks.

    (Looking at Sarala) Please give him tea and snacks showing proper respect to the scion of the bread provider.

    (Kaniya finished the bottle in no time. Within no time, snoring sound of Kaniya comes from his room.)

    (Sarala, following the advice from her father, prepared tea and some snacks for him albeit reluctantly.

    Kanak tried to catch her hand while she was offering tea to him. With an obvious sign of displeasure, Sarala took her hand away from him. Kanak did not try to catch her again for the time being.)

    Kanak: OK, I shall not touch you again without your tacit permission. But will you sit down before me to hear a story from me? Otherwise, I am leaving right now. In that case, tell your parents that I left your house without taking even a cup of tea as you are reluctant to give a cup of tea to a guest showing minimum respect!’

    (Sarala reluctantly sits down keeping a safe distance from him)

    (Kanak looks at her from a safe distance intensely for few moments. She is wearing a navy blue jeans and white stripped red sweater. In the dim light, she looks gorgeous!

    She is dressing to kill me’ Kanak tells to himself.)

    Kanak: You are looking very beautiful! Who has given this dress to you?

    (She does not answer.).

    Kanak: Whoever gave your dress; he wanted to kill me by your matching dress!’ (Still she does not answer.)

    Kanak: Did you know that the last year, on Bihu when your sister and you had gone to your maternal uncle’s house, I stayed in your house for the whole night?

    Sarala (nods): Yes.

    Kanak: Did your mother tell you what happened on that particular night?

    Sarala: No.

    Kanak: Ok, let me tell the whole incident in details what happened on that day.

    (Kanak tells a story. An elderly lady starts a close relation with a young boy. The scene may be shown for one minute without any vulgarity)

    (Kanak approaches slowly to the chair where Sarala was sitting. She is closing her eyes. Kanak lifts her from her chair and kisses her on her face and then on her wet lips. )

    Kanak: You are too sweet to be ignored! You are looking gorgeous today! You are going to kill me with your beauty! You are the most beautiful girl of our entire locality! None of the girls of your age can be compared with you in terms of beauty! I think you are created by God only for me!

    (Sarala remains silent. Then, he embraces her tightly for some time and kisses her head passionately)

    (Next scene: They are sleeping under a bed sheet. Sarala is weeping)

    Kanak: Why you are weeping, my little babe? Did I hurt you?

    (She did not answer but moved her head side-wise indicating that she was not hurt.)

    Kanak: Then, did I not perform well enough to satisfy your desire!’

    Sarala: No, that is not the reason of my weeping. I am very happy that you are the first person with whom I have enjoyed my life as a grown up female. For the first time, I realized how much it can be satisfying for a girl to surrender her body and soul to the person whom she actually loves. It would have been painful to surrender my body and soul to a person whom I have to pretend to love due to some other considerations! It cannot be painful to surrender your body and mind to whom you actually love from your heart and soul.

    (Kanak is surprised to hear her answer. Kanak can not react to her answer immediately.)

    Sarala: However, on the hind sight, I never thought I shall betray Bikash, with whom I have a plan to marry though I do not love him. How I shall face him next time when he will tell something about our future life which may include our physical intimacy plan as well?

    (She starts weeping again. Kanak feels sorry for her. He tries to console her by patting on her back lovingly.)

    Kanak: My little darling, you have not done anything wrong! You have a beautiful body which Bikash could not have appreciated properly. He is a duffer, I doubt, he will ever praise your curves on your body. Did he ever say that your bosom is as beautiful as bud of a lotus ready to bloom? And your private part is as beautiful as a blooming rose. Your lips are as tasty as honey. I am sure, he even cannot think about such a comparison!’

    Sarala: (Keeps her head on the bare chest of Kanak) Do not worry, Kanu, I shall not blame you for today. Rather, I am thankful to you for giving me an opportunity to open
