Part 1

Many children were playing on the playground that sunny afternoon.

The children were going down on the slide.

They were playing on the toddler swing.

They were running.

They were having fun on the seesaw.

It was a pleasant and fun Sunday afternoon.

However, not far from there, the figure of a well-dressed man in a black suit was watching the children.

He was tall and thin.

His face was empty. It was just a white mask.

He had long arms.

No father or mother there in the playground seemed to notice that strange figure.

Only one child noticed that man.

This child was Chloe, a six-year-old girl.

She was playing on the seesaw with a friend when she noticed the figure of this slender man beside a tree.

— Come on, go up! — said Chloe's friend, who was high up on the other side of the seesaw.

Chloe remained on the ground, looking somewhere in the woods as if mesmerized.

Four tentacles came out of the slender man's back and came towards Chloe.

Her friend fell sharply to the floor with the seesaw.
