Time’s Waltz

Alex is an up in coming author in his early twenties, taking the Indie writing scene by storm.  His Dreadwood book series went over big as an ebook and now a third party publisher has signed him to a printing deal.  Alex is at his first official book signing.  As he sat behind the table it was obvious to anyone with eyes he was nervous.  But his life was about to change just two people away looms a fateful encounter with a dark haired beauty who has not taken her eyes off of him.  1, 2, 3 she now stood before him looking deeply into his Hazel eyes.  Her eyes were a seafoam green like vast meadows on the edge of the seas of time.  Who should I make it out too he asked.  Claire McGovern  she had a melodic voice like the beat of a slightly out of time waltz.  their first meeting had not been anything special but she had made enough of an impression that he locked her name into his memory.  The copy of his book she had brought was well read and worn.  Alex smiled as she walked away.  Not knowing a thing about who she was.  And who was she, Claire McGvern is the middle daughter of a wealthy family known to be financial heavyweights.  Her father was a self-made billionaire by the time he hit his thirties.  Alex knows none of this.  He is just focused on the task at hand.
