Melissa Marsden was born in Australia and then spent many years in England before returning to Australia in 2006. Melissa has always had a passion for writing and studied English with a creative writing major before completing a Speech Pathology degree. She was drawn to study this when her sister suffered a stroke at a young age. Melissa has two children and lives in Perth, Western Australia.
