Another cruise vacation, Ginger, Clyde, Tina and Derek. Thanks to Derek we have new faces. Dakota and Dixie, Derek's teenage daughters. Samson, Derek's cousin on his mother's side and Taylor, Samson's new girlfreind of a couple of months. Taylor appears to be friendly but she doesn't have the greatest attitude. Not sure if she is right for Samson. It's almost the opposite of Derek and Camella, but this time Taylor is the one misleading. We shall soon find out. Everyone is hoping for a funfilled vacation without the drama of the past.

The persistent sound of the phone ringing sent Ginger running from outside.

Winded, she answered, Hello. Hey, sis, what’s up? Derek’s low-timbered voice vibrated in her ear.

I was gardening, Ginger said, wiping the dirt from her hands as she cradled the phone on her shoulder.

I was ringin’ to see where we’re headed this year. We are cruisin’ aren’t we? Your daughter wants to know too, she wants to bring Raider for his birthday.

"Yes, we, as in Clyde and me." She said with a roll of her eyes.

Ah, don’t be like that.

After what happened last year, can you blame me?

Ginger could hear Derek moving around. This year is way different, he said. Thought I’d go solo or, maybe bring the kids?

Ginger’s jaw dropped. Your children? This is not a kid vacation, Derek.

It’ll be fine. They’ll love spending time with their auntie and cousin Tina.

Ginger snorted. Don’t even try that shit. If you bring them, they are your responsibility alone. I am not your babysitter, and neither is anyone else.

When’s departure time? Derek asked, ignoring her comment.

Clyde and I are thinking October. Not feeling the group thing, Derek, but call me back in a week or two. I will let you know my decision then.

Ginger rolled her eyes at his enthusiasm. She wished she were as excited as he seemed. Okay. Bye.

She hung up the phone and sighed. Another vacation full of drama; she knew it. Her intuition told her that.

What’s wrong? Clyde asked, sliding up from behind and massaging her shoulders. You look like you have the world on your shoulders.
