About this ebook
Nicola Kelleher
Nicola Kelleher is a TV presenter and actress who has always had a passion for the paranormal. Growing up in Dorset, Nicola collected leaves and flowers to make pretend spells whilst other children played with dolls and teddies. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, Nicola would always reply, "A witch." Sadly, there were no available vacancies for witches on leaving school, so Nicola enrolled in drama college and later drama school in her birth-town of London. Nicola has acted in feature films, commercials and stage plays and in 2009, moved into TV presenting. She has travelled all over the world within the last decade and presented on many UK TV channels as well as wildlife TV shows on location in Africa and paranormal TV shows (of course) in the UK and USA. Nicola is also a psychic medium and reads for people from all over the world.

Acknowledgements
I would like to thank Austin Macauley publishers for believing in my vision of taking this book from a vision to a dream. I am eternally grateful for selecting my manuscript and taking a somewhat unusual genre of book and helping turn it into something beautiful. I would also like to thank all of my spiritual friends for being a constant support, in particular Hazel Lee for pushing me to pursue my psychic abilities, Tiffany Wardle for being a constant brain to pick and to Katie Keeley and Lee Van-Zyl for their continued support. Special thanks also to Deb’s Caddewaller, as without her encouragement after completing each psychic reading for her, this book would have likely stayed as a pile of notes. I would also like to thank my mother, Susan, for allowing me to be a witch as often as possible as a child and for the constant supply of rubber bats, fake blood and witchy items each birthday. Special thanks also to Herb Magic’s infinite advice on herbs and where to buy them on their website. Finally, I would like to thank my partner, Bradley, for always being there for me with encouragement and cups of tea during my endless writing sessions on my very messy desk in the corner.
Preface
Many people have told me over the years that I must have been born a witch. Perhaps this is true, or maybe it’s the pale skin and dark hair as well as my natural affiliation with nature. When I was very young, others were playing with dolls and mother’s dressing-up box, I was in the garden, collecting leaves and making potions. When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say with zeal, A witch!
much to the dismay of the adults around me. Back in the early 1980s, there was no Harry Potter, and spirituality was seen as somewhat of a taboo. My mother and I never discussed witches and potions, and my father and my other siblings were seemingly ‘normal’. Perhaps I just enjoyed the shock factor and the look of dismay on people’s faces when I told them of my career plan or maybe it is a past life of some description. Whatever it was, it certainly seemed to be part of everyday life for me, and the one thing I wanted more than anything when I was a 5-year-old wannabe witch, was a book of spells. I wasn’t old enough to ask in the library, although I searched with zeal the section under the letter ‘S’ for spells and ‘W’ for witchcraft. Whilst other girls wanted a pony, I asked Mum for a raven. I still would love to own a raven, and I still search for books of spells but now they are so much easier to find. This book is a collection of easy and practical spells to use in everyday life. No one was harmed and no animals were slaughtered and offered up to the gods or deities. These spells are to be used for things like selling a home, attracting love, moving a relationship on that is perhaps holding you back and keeping away enemies who are perhaps trying to bring you down. There is no magic circle or altar needed, although you can tweak these spells for your own use. I do like to mention the preferred moon phase for these spells and the possible preferred day of the week to cast the spell, although this is not essential in most cases. In this book, I use herbs, chants or poems, oils, food and good intention. It literally is magic that is practical. As a rule of thumb with most spells, spells that are to attract something to you should be performed on a waxing moon, and those of which are designed to send something away should be performed on a waning moon. The days of the week can also be important in spell casting as they all have a ruling planet which can help when deciding when best to cast your spell. Monday is ruled by the moon and, therefore, good for emotionally based spell work, such as rebuilding a relationship and is also good for spells on intuition, protection and clairvoyance. Tuesday is ruled by Mars, and so is great for spells to inspire passion and energy, such as a spell to boost confidence. Mars is a warrior, so if you need
