About this ebook

The 9 Principles for Success was written to serve as a guide, and a detail explanation of what it takes to become and remain successful throughout our various business endeavors. Each of these principles are the keys to understanding how and why we are where we are in life. I firmly believe we all think we know some of these principles. However, success comes when we have a clear understanding of why and how we should apply these principles to our lives to become successful.

    Chapter 1

How Bad Do You Want It?

The 9 Principles for Success was written to serve as a guide, and a detail explanation of what it takes to become and remain successful throughout our various business endeavors. Each of these principles are the keys to understanding how and why we are where we are in life. I firmly believe we all think we know some of these principles. However, success comes when we have a clear understanding of why and how we should apply these principles to our lives to become successful.

Growing up, I never had someone to tell me some of the simple things I needed to know to become successful. We all just assume it’s understood. However, if you don’t know, how can you truly succeed? Let’s face it, it’s hard to know what you don’t know. Often, it’s the little things that most of us do not pay attention to, which causes us not to succeed.

Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in a while, or the light won’t come in. – Isaac Asimov

The 9 Principles for Success will hopefully enlighten you in ways you would never image. This book will go far beyond just talking about the principles of success and only giving examples. The 9 Principles for Success will also enable you to have a complete understanding of why these principles are important, how to apply them to your everyday life, and make these principles work in your favor.

The measure of intelligence is the ability to change. – Albert Einstein

I believe we must attack business challenges no differently than we would attack something or someone who seeks to defeat us or do us harm. It’s obvious to each of us if someone on the street walked up and wanted to do us physical harm. That person would be considered an adversary/challenge. Obstacles that occur to challenge you from achieving your goals should also be considered an adversary as well. No differently than someone who wishes to do you physical harm. I believe we all have experienced or witnessed a person who’s always talking a lot of trash. You know the person. That person who always has the quick witty comeback comments, or the person who’s always talking about what, why, and how they could or would kick someone’s ass. They tend to go on and on, and it always seems to happen when a lot of people are around. I believe that’s because they know the people around will stop anything from getting to far out of hand. This is how most people are regarding their career, business opportunities, investments, relationships, etc. At the same time, you also have those very few individuals that do not tend to talk any trash at all. We all have witnessed their behavior as well. The person who will simply walk up and punch the bully/challenge directly in the face without saying much of anything at all. I like to call this type of person action taker. Most people talk a lot of trash about what they would or could do if they only had the opportunity to do so regarding their goals. If they only had the time, money, the chance, etc. to make it happen. They are always talking trash if people are around to listen, but what happens to most people when challenge show its face, and no one is there to stop it. The trash talker tends to back down and show fear towards the challenge in front of them.

My question to you today is, which one are you? Are
