    Seeing as the sun is setting in, I scurry away home, leaving my friends behind. After my school had closed, I'd decided to go with my friends, to sort out an assignment, our teacher had given; my parents unaware. If I could eliminate this 'enormous task' from my schedule, I would be less bothered throughout the weekend. Then, I could focus on knocking my friend, Juwon out, as we compete in his favorite video game. Unlike me, he had mastered passable skills, which makes him presumptuously refer to me as, the novice.

    While at my friend’s home, the twin sisters, Bisola and Busola, were mostly bickering at each other; on logarithm theorems, Professor Adekunle had taught. This was incredulous as the assignment was based on indices. They weren't even aware when I left; but, I am sure they would figure out later when their mom informs them.

    The way home is lonely, as the street is completely deserted, as though no one dwells around here. Well, that is not so, considering that I can make out the sound of stainless spoons rattling steel pots.

    ‘Surely dinner is getting ready,’ I mutter to myself, as I sashay down the street.

    Deviating to Maryland Zone, I quicken my pace as fast as I can, because it is slightly becoming dusk. Fortunately, the street lamp brightly illuminates the vicinity giving an appearance of mid-day. I make the rest of my
