The stories to be found WOLVES, DRAGONS, AND DEATH: A COLLECTION OF FANTASY STORIES are a mixture of original creations from the author as well as reimagined fairy tales. The stories in the collection include:
"Wolf" - The account of a man, Drust, who finds himself wandering the wilderness, dazed and confused. He crosses path with a holy man, sent by the church on a hunt for a monster wolf terrorizing the region. Along the way, Drust stumbles across a disturbing realization.
"Amethyst Wildwoods" - A woman spends a pleasant afternoon admiring the beautiful scenery under the watchful eyes of her Dragon companion.
"Pursuit" - Wolf tracks his prey through the forest, hoping to catch a glimpse of her scarlet cloak. After all, she should know better than to wander through the woods while he lurks in them.
"Death's Visit" -After a disturbing visit to a gypsy fortune teller, a nobleman seeks to protect himself from Death, only to lead The Reaper to his door and into his home. It seems Death had found him sooner than originally intended.
"Obscurity" - Wolf Shifter brothers, Mitchel and Shaw, plot to steal the body of their dead shifter comrade back from the hunters who shot him before their secret can be discovered.
