About this ebook
Do you have crazy dreams? Because I have crazy dreams. And by crazy, I mean truly incredible! Sometimes, my dreams are so vivid it’s like watching a movie while I sleep.
Occasionally, my dreams are reality-based, like bounty hunters tracking a cold case or a shunned college student on a rampage. But more often, they are fantastical: a tournament with an ogre, an encapsulated city, or suddenly tiny monsters!
Come and read about the crazy nonsense that goes on in my head while I sleep!

Introduction
Do you have crazy dreams? I have crazy dreams. And when I say crazy, what I mean is truly incredible! Occasionally, I will have a dream that is clear, bold, detailed, and highly imaginative.
As cliché as it sounds, dreams such as these are like movies playing in my head while I sleep. I can even retain them for a while after waking, as if I'd just walked out of the theater. My movie-dreams are so vivid, in fact, that a number of years ago I decided they are simply too intriguing not to share. So, I began writing them out as little short stories.
These are just some of my favorite movie-dreams. Adaptation into story form has been minimal to preserve the original content.
And yes, I really did dream this crazy nonsense. All of it.
The Tournament
The arena was immense. It was a yawning chasm spanning fifty yards across and a good four stories from rim to floor. The amoeboid basin was covered by gleaming white and yellow subway tile, with about a foot of water shimmering in the bottom. Six ladders were bolted into the walls around the arena, with six large black cushions placed at the base of each (which, one could assume, would aid a player's quick descent, intentional or otherwise). Wetsuits and swim shoes were provided for the contestants, and each was allowed one small over-the-shoulder satchel. Weapons, however, had to be earned by demonstrating wile and style.
Objective:
Subdue the Beast
The Beast:
A thirty-foot ogress named Luuha
Daisy observed that four of the six players were new to the game. There was Laura, a wilting rose. Tina, a spritely slip of a thing. Sophia, a feisty one with luxuriant chestnut tresses. And then Ty, a delicate boy trying desperately to burst into manhood. The fifth player she knew. The devilishly handsome Jaden had competed before and was receiving accolades from the approving crowd. Former military, he was a natural leader and well-adapted to combat situations. The team of six was rounded out by little mop-top Daisy. She felt quite fetching in her shiny new wetsuit.
The players each selected a ladder and fidgeted nervously near the top rungs. Jaden, however, appeared cool and collected, his matching shoulder tattoos glistening with tiny beads of sweat. After granting herself a brief moment of lustful distraction, Daisy took a deep breath and steadied herself. The crowd had settled and the tournament was about to begin.
Enter: The Beast. Luuha made a magnificent appearance at the far end of the arena, seeming to have materialized from nowhere. She flexed and released a ground-rumbling roar as great doors swung closed behind her and sealed seamlessly into the tile. Terrific and terrible, she regarded each of her adversaries briefly with snorts, grunts, and an impressive thrashing of hair. She then proceeded to the center of the arena to wait.
The players stood frozen, poised beside their ladders. It was astonishing how Luuha had made this colossal chasm feel like a bath tub. They were startled from their trance by the belch of the starting horn. The crowd erupted into cheers and jeers.
Jaden was the first to enter the arena, half climbing, half gliding to the bottom. Ty, his manliness spurred on by Jaden's gusto, proceeded down his ladder as well (albeit with a bit less flair). Having thoroughly enjoyed Jaden's descent, the rest quickly snapped back to their senses and sprang into action. Laura and Tina followed the guys while Sophia and Daisy split and ran around the rim to meet up at the far side.
Despite their obvious differences, Jaden and Ty worked well together. Jaden was quick to make decisions, and Ty was quick to pick up his cues. They began by attacking Luuha's shoes, working feverishly to untie one of her laces. Laura and Tina sloshed
