Everything, Anything, and Nothing: The Meanderings of a Would-Be Writer
()
About this ebook
EVERYTHING, ANYTHING, AND NOTHING: The Meanderings of a Would-be Writer brings together unseemly characters in an assortment of tales about the human condition.
“Late Night Talks About Everything, Anything and Nothing” is what Corina and Liza do when they stay up way too late on the eve of their first day of High School. The night conversation is filled with conflicting viewpoints of their future as Corina’s usual pessimism combats Liza’s natural optimism. Whose outlook will define them by the end of the night?
“Fate Unknown” finds Belgaire spending his morning at a coffee shop as he contemplates his fate and possible future without Kathryne. Will Belgaire finally change his fate when his anticipated guest is a no show, or will he accept the inevitable when he’s surprised by someone unexpected?
"A Rose by Any Other Name" could smell just as sweet when it is your birthday. When a large bouquet of roses shows up, a miscommunication ensues when the birthday girl calls upon her new lover.
“Saving People, Hunting Things” is what Jared and Jensen had done for years. Now in semi-retirement, Jensen doesn’t think the new guys in the business have what it takes to do what was once their family business.
In “Meet Cute”, chivalry is not quite dead when boy meets girl meets swimming pool. Meet Mac, the not so typical frat guy, who meets Siobhan, not the typical college party girl, in an act of chivalry that takes a plunge but leaves you high and dry.
A “Hotel Woman” is not how Jade imagines herself in the least, but the enigmatic Fernando has her coming to his room every time he makes his way into town. She tries to enjoy his company without overthinking the labels of their relationship.

I was still pretty
