Dr Ram V Athavale
The writer is a Veteran Army Officer with more than thirty years of color service. He has been a student of CBRN Risk Mitigation for more than twenty years and has been a Key CBRN Advisor to the Government of India (Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Home Affairs). A Visiting Faculty at select universities, a prolific writer and a CBRN subject speaker in international seminars and conferences, he holds Ph.D. for his Doctoral Research on “CBRN Terrorism: A Crisis & Consequence Management Model for India” from SPPU, Pune, India. Athavale has been a Key CBRN Expert for the EU CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence and advised Governments of Eastern and Central Africa on CBRN risk mitigation matters for three years. He is a freelance CBRN Risk Mitigation, Incident Management and Security Consultant based at Pune, India.
