About this ebook

The descriptions in this book go back to a civilization of 3000 BC on Earth when the entire population on Earth was approximately nine hundred thousand only. Human beings were fully dependent on nature. There was no lust, anger, attachment, greed or ego at the time. Physically and mentally, all human beings were perfect. Violence, war, corruption, unfaithfulness, burglaries, etc. were unknown to people.
The birth or reproduction of living beings including humans, was not resultant from sexual activities. The death of human being was purely by wish. There was a total synchronisation between nature and living beings. In a Kingdom, there was no need for defence, home, commerce, or finance portfolios. The citizens of the country were pure, happy, blissful and physically the most powerful then. But the big questions were, was it possible to have reproduction without sex, taste in food without sugar or salt, live a life without medicines or electricity, live a life without any fear and together with all animals, live a life without religions, scientific inventions or machines?

My Day in Paradise - Prasanna .

    Session 1

    Village of Paradise

A soothing time of pre-dawn. The feather touch of a soft hand did not allow me to sleep further. My eyes opened and I found myself sleeping on a dazzling marble stone. I could not believe where I was. I hardly remembered I was a cine actress, living in Bandra. Mumbai.

I had the best sleep ever in my life over here. No more morning laziness... The atmosphere was very pleasant. I saw a peacock dancing even at early dawn. A wild cock gave a few alarms to everyone to wake up.

I was lying on the stone in the garden, surrounded by some sunflower plants blossomed with yellow flowers and a group of young children was chatting with each other.

As darkness started leaving the earth and brightness approached, I could see a beautiful golden palace at a distance.

The young children were looking at me surprised and I at them. I had never seen such beautiful doll like children before. I thought they were here for a film shooting.

They spoke a different language. All were wearing similar white dresses from shoulder to knee. They might be all nursery students.

At a distance, I saw a cow with her calf approaching us in the garden. The sun had just started rising like a dark red ball and changed the earth’s colour to golden red.

One young boy was saying something, which I could not understand. All the kids were looking at me curiously. Suddenly the roar of a lion that was approaching us terrified me.

To save my life, I rushed up to the children who surrounded me as well.

The lion came towards us slowly and then went to the calf of the cow. I thought the lion would take the calf and vanish to the jungle. Still trembling, I was holding the shoulders of the two boys, praying to God to save us.

Then I could not believe what happened before my own eye. The calf and the lion were playing together and the cow was laughing at them. One naughty boy ran towards the lion and jumped over his back. Now the calf, small boy, and lion all played together.

The Sun wished good morning to the earth. I could see two couples coming towards us, looking at me curiously. They too said something, which I could not understand. After few chats with the children, they left and one small boy pulled me towards the golden palace. Scared as I crossed the Lion, the calf and the cow, I could see a small cat mewing with few fishes next to a small fountain nearby.

I had lost my high heeled shoes at night somewhere, but still, I was walking without any discomfort, barefooted on the grass.

Finally, we reached a small village, which had a few houses. Before entering the village, I saw a small river flowing adjacent to it. The water of the river looked sparkling white. I could notice few people taking their bath in the river water., As they came out of water, clothe less, the water droplets on their bodies dazzled like pearls.

We walked towards the village. The small boy guided me to a house. There was no door to the house. Two persons with smiling faces were standing at the entrance with a lamp and flowers to welcome us. The houses were made of red clays.

The woman and her husband were both wearing white. Their dresses were of only one type of cloth, but both were wearing them in different styles. For the woman it was like a

saree and for the man, a dhoti.

The woman gestured to me to sit on a veranda inside and asked the boy to get water for me. The boy rushed inside and came back with a small earthen pot of water.

I washed my face and drank a little water.

The taste of the water was so smooth and sweet, I thought of drinking the full pot.

The woman tried to convey something, but I could not understand. I too was beginning to feel uncomfortable, as I could not communicate.

They had an open space at the center of the house, a kind of a courtyard, and all rooms were surrounding this open space. There were no doors in any room. Though the houses were made of clay, the rooms were very clean and cool compared to any house in the posh areas of Mumbai.

Then the woman went into a room which was supposed to be the kitchen, came out with a small pot of water and a green tooth stick, and signaled me to brush my teeth. I was not familiar with how to brush my teeth in this old and rustic way having been born and brought up in the city. I had never used tooth stick for brushing my teeth before.

I stood still. The boy, still curious and eager to help, took the stick and started demonstrating how to use it for brushing. It didn’t take much time to understand the moves. The boy then guided me to the back of the house and directed me to brush in the adjacent small drain line, which flowed down to the line of the main drain. The used brush then had to be dropped in a wooden box used as the dustbin.

I finished brushing and came back to the house in silence. By this time, all the children had left except this boy. The woman and her husband seemed very happy with my presence in their house.

The small boy who was hardly 4-5 years old was very cute. He was very keen to be my side continuously, as if I was a sister and never left me alone.

He then went inside one of the rooms and came back with a wooden plate full of fresh fruits of guava, banana, blackberry and an orange which I chose to eat later, as I got the call of nature and signaled this boy to show me the toilet. He took me to the back of the house and once again showed me a room made of clay and bamboo, but this one was roofless. The toilet was an Indian styled one but made of marble stone. They had water in a water tank made of stone with a small pot. I freshened up.

After coming back to the same veranda, I conveyed to them with gestures, that I wanted to take a bath. Though my language was different from theirs, the communication was like telepathy. They were able to understand my feelings or needs.

The woman offered me a white sheet of cloth like a saree and asked me to change my nightgown. There was no inner wear, no blouse and I was thinking how to use it. Her husband had left before I came from the toilet.

Then the woman guided me to wrap the sheet of cloth on my body the way she was wearing it.

She treated me like her close relative.

With an earthen pot rested on her left waist and guarded by the left hand, the woman asked me to follow her to the same river. The river was flowing with the purest of water I had ever seen. She removed the cloth from her body and went inside the water, which was up to her waist only and asked me to do the same, leaving my clothes on the bank of the river. We both took bath for nearly 5 minutes and felt as if my body was fully detoxified. I took a sunbath later to dry up my body after wrapping the sheet of fabric around my body as we did in the sea beach of Goa.

The woman went further deep into the water, filled the earthen pot with water, came to the bank, and wrapped her body with the cloth.

When we came back to the house, we saw her husband milking the cow in the open field. The cow was pleased to offer her milk.

The small boy was standing there with the plate of fruits for me still.

As the woman smiled at the boy and me, she asked me to eat the fruits. I took one banana and offered the boy to eat first.

I tasted the fruits. They were the sweetest ever.

His father then offered me the same raw milk in a bamboo tumbler. As the milk was fresh from the cow, it was warm when I drank it.

I took few more fruits along with the woman and her husband before we saw one person coming towards their house wearing the same clothes but with a small cloth wrapped around his head.

    Session 2

    Village Hall

As the person approached the house, he called this man in his language at the entrance of the house without entering the house. After seeing him, I just entered to one of the rooms in fear.

The gentleman went till the entrance to invite him to enter the house and asked him to sit on the veranda. The woman and the small boy too went to him and welcomed him. Later they also offered him water and milk to drink.

The person handed over a beetle nut to the owner of the house. He then conveyed something to the woman and both looked very happy.

The person with the white cloth perhaps said good-bye after that and left the house.

As I was just returned from the bath, I wanted to comb my hair and was looking for some makeup to use as that was what I was habituated with. I could not find any mirror or a makeup table in the house. When I asked for the comb, the small boy came back with one which was a quarter to a foot long and made of black wood. I combed my hair and made a knot at the back. After seeing this, the small boy rushed outside.

The woman and the man indicated me that we had to go out after some time. I was looking for a clock to know the time but could find none.

I had neither a watch nor my Mobile phone with me. Why was I here without my vanity, mobile phone, and small mirror?

I came out to see the Sun position to ascertain the time. It seemed like it was about 8 o’clock in the morning.

I saw the small boy holding a beautiful rose and asking me to sit down. As I sat down, he fixed it on my hair at back of my head.

Then the small boy took me around the outside of the house where I saw the man was making a wooden slipper. Upon seeing us, he came with the slipper and asked me to try it on. I tried the slipper, which was very hard as it was made of wood. The size was a little bigger, so he took the measurement, cut the slippers and polished them to the size of my foot.

After some time, the man asked us to go out. The small boy never left my small finger.

We moved out and headed towards the main lane. The Sunlight was very pleasant and mellow, the weather was neither hot nor cold. The Sunlight seemed to be changing its quality perhaps as per need of the human’s skin.

All houses were connected to the main lane by a 5 foot brick road and were at least 50 meters away from the main lane.

The Golden Palace was looked marvelous at an approximate distance of 2 Kilometers from this place.

We all entered a big hall at the end of the village. There were many people gathering there. They seemed to be waiting to receive us… just like people in India do to receive a female minister!

As I looked at the gathering, I could find all were very fair, shining, and smiling. All the young children were looking at me curiously. The seating arrangement in the house were black stone benches.

I could understand it was Welcome Day for me. A group of musicians started playing the flutes, veena, and mridangam after our entry into the hall.

A team of young boys and girls came to the center of the hall and started dancing to the tune of the music.

After the children’s dance, a senior team of women and men too started dancing to welcome me perhaps...

The cultural program continued for almost two hours.

After the dance, they asked me to go and meet the village head who was also sitting there too on a stone chair. He looked more than 80 years of age, but he had not a single tooth missing and his hair was still black.

All the people looked fresh and nobody had any wrinkles on their body or face. Their bodies looked shining and soft even from a distance.

Everybody had a beautiful physique. Nobody used any makeup, neither men nor women. Neither any talcum powder, nor any perfumes. All women garlanded themselves with yellow and pink flowers. There was a sweet, soothing aroma in the hall! Nobody was shouting or crying. Total peace prevailed in the hall.

We approached the village head. He was there like a father to welcome me. I could guess this family telling him that I did not understand their language. He looked at me with an expression that seemed to indicate that he had got back his daughter after a long time. His eyes were merciful.

He indicated me to look straight to his eye.

I focused my eye to his eyeballs. He never dropped the eye lid and I experienced as if two thin rays of light were radiating from his eyes and entering mine.

It was a pleasurable feeling to receive the warm rays. I was experiencing a mild current flowing through my eyes to my brain.

    Session 3

    Welcome Ceremony

The rays of light also hit straight me on the center of my forehead between my eyes. It gave me a mild shock like a low voltage current. For few minutes, I forgot who I was and where I was.

The memory storage racks in my brain were arranged automatically in a proper order. I felt as if some incidents were getting deleted one by one and my brain is getting half-empty to learn or store more incidents now.

A mild current was flowing from my head to toe. I could experience some internal changes in my thoughts as well as in my body functions. My body was very light as if I offloaded a quintal of weight from my head.

Everybody in the hall was more vibrant and beautiful than I, even though I was the then beauty queen of my college.

I could find all young boys and girls dancing in this get together. Each boy was treating the other girl like his own sister.

Everybody in the hall was enjoying my presence and I could not find anybody who was not in a happy mood or with a smiling face. It seems everybody in this place was very happy and at peace.

After the program, the head of the village invited everyone for Lunch.

Many wanted to talk to me but I was unable to communicate. I was now able to understand many though and what they intended to say to me, after coming in eye contact with the village head.

As we moved to the adjacent room, which was supposed to be a dining room, I could see a dozen women sitting in a row, preparing the food. Before each woman, there were five seat mattresses and five small eating desks cum tables. One had to sit on
