About this ebook
Griffin Nash, Earl of Devonwood, wants to believe that he's seducing Miss Emmaline Farnsworth out of protectiveness for his young brother. After all, if his brother is convinced that the tantalizing professor's daughter is unworthy of his trust, perhaps Teddy will lose all interest in such an inappropriate choice for his station.
But in truth, something else motivates Devonwood: a scintillating vision he's had of a future tryst with the lovely Emmaline. A vision too realistic to be doubted--and too scaldingly passionate to be denied.
Yet Emmaline is not as easily tempted as Devonwood might have hoped--nor is she actually in pursuit of a wealthy husband. No, the real reason for her visit to the manor is something much more shocking. . . though being enticed by a dashing earl may prove to be a most welcome by-product of her schemes. . .

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/54.5*Book source ~ Many thanks to Kensington for providing a review copy in exchange for an honest review. The Earl of Devonwood, Griffin Nash, has a gift. Or as he sees it, a curse. He can see the future when he touches an object. The vision always resolves itself within 12 hours, so when he gets a Sending from Emmaline Farnsworth’s pencil showing Griffin their passionate embrace, he’s both turned on and appalled. Emmaline is his brother Theodore’s choice for a bride though she hasn’t given him an answer yet. Betraying his beloved brother is not in the cards, but his visions always come true. And yet he feels something for Emmaline he’s never felt before. What’s a guy to do?An historical romance with some psychic ability thrown in is always a favorite of mine. This is the 3rd book in the Touch of Seduction series and it’s just as good as the others. The writing is great, the characters are excellent, the plot is a good one and the chemistry between Emmaline and Griffin is off the charts. There is humor, too and I have to say how much I love Baxter the butler. Griffin’s friends are a bit barmy and it’s sad that he doesn’t have some better ones, but if they had been then there wouldn’t be much of a story. This book, and in fact the whole series, is a great way to be entertained.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is the third book in Mia Marlowe's series "Touch of Seduction." In each book one of the main characters has a special gift of touch. When they touch an specific type of item they can either see the past or the future.
In this book our hero Devon has the magic touch but can only see the near future within 12 hours of now. He is an Earl in charge of an estate that is barely keeping in the black. His Gift has helped out at cards more than once. Then his brother brings home from Egypt a soon to be, if she concents, fiance.
Emmaline is a con artist along with her protector "father" Monty. This latest con involving an Egyptian statue is sure to be the big one they have waited for. Until Devon falls for his brother's woman. Worse yet, Emmaline falls for an Earl. How could this scam possibly work when you have to decide between a scam that will pay for your father's desperately needed medical treatment or becoming a mistress to the man you love?
There was a bit of a lull in the middle of the book, swamped in story setup that really wasn't needed in my opinion but once past that the book once again held my interest to the finishing line. A passionate fun read. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Reviewed by: Shannon Book provided by: PublisherReview originally posted at Romancing the BookWhen his brother, Theodore, comes home from Egypt with a fiancee and her father in tow, Griffin Nash, the Earl of Devonwood, is skeptical of what Ms. Emmaline Farnsworth and her father really want. While Griffin tries to discover just what Emma and her father are up to, he finds himself falling in deeper for her and discovering the Emma manages to take away the pain associated with his gift of seeing the future.Griffin and Emma were two individuals who were trapped in circumstances of their own making. Griffin held himself away from others because he was afraid of what he gift might show him. Emma wanted to be loved so she went along with whatever scheme her adopted father came up with to make him happy. Neither of the characters are very likable and could be downright nasty to each other. Despite that, they’re attraction to each other was undeniable and as the story went on you hoped they both had the courage to finally grab the one thing they wanted.I was hoping for so much more from this story. With an Egyptian artifact, an Earl with the gift of “sight” and a Marquess dabbling in a bit of witchcraft, I thought this would be a book that kept me at the edge of my seat. While the romance between Griffin and Emma is the main focus of the story, the Egyptian statue and the Marquess’ involvement also played an important role in the how and why Griffin and Emma came together, so I wanted more involvement and the outcome of the story to be a direct result of this storyline and not Ted and Griffin’s disagreement. This was enjoyable read for the majority of the story, even if it left me wanting more.
