About this ebook
Who are the Strategic Prophets? They are the prophets, like Ezekiel and Daniel etc., whose first concern is not to pray for people, but whose calling and anointing is to understand strategic heavenly arrangements at various levels.
With this type of prophet, we do not normally see signs and wonders, nor do they have many relationships with people, apart from those who have a strategic role in the Kingdom of God. They are the prophets who stand in the spiritual Planning and Operations Room for what goes on according to the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
This type of prophet includes a group of sub-types. There are those who see in general terms the grand spiritual plan, whom we can call the fathers of the strategic prophets, and there are those who see and have a strategic role in an important part, but only a part, of the grand strategy. Prophets of this type have a part of the strategy and are the most common, because there are many parts. However, the spiritual father of the whole strategy may only be one, and so we do not find many of them.

The Strategic Prophets - Abdellah Larage
Introduction
According to translations of the Bible into Arabic and many other languages, the prophets are divided into two groups, the Major Prophets and the Minor Prophets. I tried to understand why there was this division and what the difference was between them. It never occurred to me that there were different types of prophets but as I continued to exercise the ministry of prophecy over the years and my knowledge increased, I discovered that there was more to it than just trying to understand the difference between the Major and the Minor Prophets. God explained to me through the Holy Spirit that there are two basic types of prophet, and each includes one of these groups.
Prophets of the first type are those whose calling is to encourage believers and speak to them in heavenly words through the Holy Spirit. Prophets of this type have a relationship with believers in general, and are usually backed up by signs and wonders, as the prophet Elisha was. They communicate with people when God gives a prophetic word to them, and people communicate with them, seeking prayer and counsel. Prophets of this type are more common and well-known among believers. These prophets build up, encourage and prepare believers.
The second type, whom I am calling strategic prophets, are those prophets, like Ezekiel and Daniel etc., whose first concern is not to pray for people, but whose calling and anointing is to understand strategic heavenly arrangements at various levels.
Although our main focus is on The Strategic Prophets, I will also talk about what makes this season the season for this type of prophet. We will also talk about people who may not have been prophets but who were nevertheless strategic people in the Kingdom. We find strategic prophets throughout history. However, this is a special season, and we find that prophets of this type are more common than ever before in the history of the church.
I had an intense impression that I should write about this subject, not simply in order to understand the different types of prophet but for a number of reasons which I will talk about in detail in the chapter entitled The Message and more generally in the succeeding chapters of this book. However, provisionally, we can summarise the purpose as to implement the heavenly strategy for this time, in the knowledge that each prophet has his particular role and position. Therefore, the goal of this categorisation, as we will explain, is not to show that one prophet is better than another, but on the contrary, to show that the prophets are complementary to one another and each has his particular role and anointing.
I will not cover all types of strategic prophet because the goal is not to draw up a list with the sole purpose of understanding the difference between them, and how many types there are. Rather, I will choose some of the main types that help us draw a clear picture that will enable us to see our way to the message that we want to arrive at.
After the chapter entitled The Father of the Prophets, I present four examples of the types of strategic prophets. These four are not just isolated examples but examples representing one of the following four basic sets.
The Praying Set: The prayers are of three main types: the worshipper, the intercessor, and the warrior. I have previously written
