About this ebook

Noelle is an energetic and outgoing young girl who is highly optimistic as she enters secondary school and starts her freshmen year. However her optimism very quickly starts heading into the abyss as she discovers she is unfortunately as socially awkward as she is optimistic, which leads her down a dark path of abuse and turmoil beyond comprehension. This eventually engulfs her as she finds herself getting expelled from school half way through secondary school and having her very being going up into flames as a result of being exiled. Along that dark path which led to her self-destruction, there were inappreciable clues about the destruction to her that was coming and the evidence of the abyss that she could see. Noelle felt there was nothing in her power that she could do to stop it from happening. Noelle finds herself in a death lock struggle to get with a school society and people that she will have to metaphorically fight with, with every part of her being just to even have the possibility of winning and having her horrific distress resolved.

    Sterling - C.A. Chesterfield

    Introduction

Sterling was a beautiful secondary school that I spent the first two years of secondary school at and that I cared for so much. I wanted to spend my full four years of secondary school there, however I had a small part of my life wrecked when I was expelled from the school and never allowed to come back. I was expelled from the school during the summer going into my junior year, in only around a mere couple of weeks before school was supposed to start. When they expelled me from the school I begged that I be spared, but they still throw me out regardless. I pleaded dozens of different times and in many different ways to be allowed back to the school, but the school still didn’t let me back in. After one full year went by which is the time period that you are entitled to return to a school after being expelled, in September of the following year after one full year prior to being expelled Sterling, the school still did not let me back in. I was in an unthinkable situation and didn’t know what to do it was at that time a year later when they still would not let me back into the school. It was at that time that I decided I would write this book, this is the story of Sterling. The story of how I got expelled from Sterling secondary school and never allowed to come back. It is a story filled with some complex concepts and experiences which I believe should be shared with others. I believe that I was wrongfully expelled from the school and I never ever accepted it to myself that I was expelled from the school because I believe that the truth is that it was not a legitimate expulsion and that I was expelled because of conspiracy and corruption. Being thrown out of Sterling tortured my mind for years after I was thrown out and ultimately did color the rest my life. Multiple people including family and officials from school have told and expressed to me that it was my own fault that I got thrown out of Sterling, I don’t feel it was though. What do you think? Let me tell you the story of what happened, let me tell you the story of Sterling.

    Chapter 1

    Welcome to Sterling

The story of how I got expelled from Sterling starts in September of my freshmen year. I was going into my freshmen year, just starting secondary school. I was starting secondary school at a private school named Sterling, the first day of school for me was a freshmen orientation day. Sterling had a freshmen orientation day for all the new coming freshmen students. As my mother drove me down the road that Sterling was on in our car I really liked the scenery of the road and the area that Sterling was located in. Then finally we stopped and turned into the school parking lot of Sterling, the parking lot was not very big as it was a small private school it could hold maybe sixty cars maximum. The school building its self was small and beautiful with the name Sterling written on the front entrance of the school. I stepped out of the car and my mother said good bye to me wishing me all the best. As I began to walk in through the doors of the front entrance of the school, wearing a white Sterling shirt and black skirt as part of the uniform. When I walked in I noticed other students and older students who were there to act as ambassadors welcoming new freshmen students to the school. One of the ambassadors came out, approached me and said in a soft quiet voice Welcome. then we waited another couple of minutes until an order was given that we were to all go down into a class room in the lower level of the school. We all walked down the stairs to the classroom in the lower level of the school, then we all had chairs that were in a round circle shape to sit in. We all sat down in the chairs as teachers and other staff members of the school hovered around us. We waited another few minutes as more students did show up and came down and joined us in the room. Then finally they said everyone is here and that it was time. Then a man starting talking he said, Hello everyone my name is Mr. White, I am the principal of the school. Unfortunately Mr. Lazowski the owner of the school could not be here today. However we have all the other staff members who you will be interacting with here at the school on a daily basis. He then let teachers come forward and talk about themselves and what they teach at the school. Then after that was done, Mr. White the principal of the school went on to explain various rules of the school and that we were usually supposed to come into the school through a side door that was on the right hand side of the school and not the front entrance door. Then after that they had us go around and talk to each other to get to know each other playing games. Then after that all but one teacher left and then we played a series of different games. Then after that we were separated into groups and teachers then began taking us on tours of the school, they showed us where all the class rooms were. Again because the school was so small there were only about ten other class rooms that we had not seen already. They were shown to us as well as a few other various rooms in the school such as the teachers work room, principal’s office. Then after that we then separated into two different groups and then we went to upstairs classrooms on the second floor of the school. The groups were separated based on applied and the academic levels, when we were in the class room the teacher her name was Mrs. Harris said to us that she would be our teacher for English and Drama class, two subjects that all freshmen students would be taking all at the same time. Because Sterling was such a small school with an average population of only one hundred students total in the whole entire school, usually all time tables would be the same. Mrs. Harris then asked us questions about the teachers that we met and what we thought about them and if we could remember who they were by their identity. Then after that was over we were then taken back down to the lower level of the school where we played another game, this game particular stood out from the other games because this game was going to be allowing us to get to know each other. The game was where we all said our names and then one person would have to try and remember everyone else’s name. One person was selected per round and then we would all say our names and then they would have to point to us and remember our names. We went around the circle there were nineteen of us total, we all then began saying our names.  I said my name was Noelle, out of the nineteen of us there were only three other girls besides me. The three other girls said their names were Sarah, Amanda and Elise. Then after we were done playing that game we were then given a free pizza lunch given by the school as part of celebration as part of the welcoming day to Sterling and the start of Secondary school for all the new freshmen students. Then after that, the welcoming day was over and we all left. I left with a good feeling that I really liked the school and I thought that I would be very happy there and liked it a lot.

    Chapter 2

The First Full Day at Sterling

The next day following was my first actual day at the school, I was driven back following the same way I had taken before again I enjoyed the scenery of the area that the school was located in. Then we finally reached the school and I was dropped off and let out in the Sterling parking lot which was only about fifty feet long and even shorter in width, it did not take me long to get to the side entrance of the school where students in all had rallied near the side entrance of the school awaiting to go to class. I saw people I knew from yesterday but the majority of people I did not know, one student who had Autism came up before me with another student and said Are these the new freshmen? I could tell he had Autism based on the way that he spoke. Then I wandered around and a senior student approached me and put his hand out and said Welcome., I said Thank you. Then at that moment the entrance doors to the school opened up and Mr. Lazowski the owner of Sterling came out. I remember perfectly on my very first day of my freshmen year of secondary school.  Mr. Lazowski then walked up to me at that time and took out his hand I immediately of course took out my hand and shook hands with him. Mr. Lazowski came out through those entrance door of Sterling walked up to me and shook hands with me smiling, he then said to me Welcome, I’m Mr. Lazowski he said in a happy voice. After he said this to me I responded back by saying Thank you. and expressing that I liked him.  Then after that the time finally came to walk inside and I began my first day of school at Sterling, I went upstairs to the second floor of the school. My first class was a math class that had me and just two other students in it. Because it was a private school it was possible to have very small classes, you could even get one on one individualized class for an extra fee if you wanted. The math class went by all right, there is nothing significant to tell about the math class. However the next class it is important that we dive into more description. The second class was a drama class that had all nineteen freshmen students in it, the teacher was Mrs. Harris who was one of the teachers we had met on the previous day and for me she would be both my English and Drama teacher. I had her for English also for the last period at the end of the day. Mostly we played games in the drama class and did minimal work then after that period, came our spare off period which lasted for sixty minutes. Then came an afternoon class of geography with a teacher named Mrs. Mclean. There were two geography classes total with one class being the applied level and the other class being the academic level. The applied class was taught by Mrs. Mclean as I previously stated and the academic class was taught by a teacher named Mr. Vargas who I was scheduled to have next semester for Science. In my geography class I had two of the three other girls that were in freshmen Elise and Amanda There was a total of eight of us, on that very first day of school in the geography class, Mrs. Mclean talked about what we would be doing in the course after she was done talking we spend the rest of the first day of class playing games. After that came our last class which was English with Mrs. Harris during the first day of English we did the same thing, she talked about the course and what it would be about and then we played games for the rest of the day. The other students were in the other English and Geography class, the academic one we were in the applied stream. That was my first day of school during my freshmen year at Sterling.

    Chapter 3

    Meeting People

As the next few days went on I began have encounters with others in the school, in the morning hours before classes started I would meet people outside of the entrance area of the school also the spare period off we had was one of the biggest times when I would meet new people. It was on the second day of being at Sterling during the spare one hour break period we were given for lunch where I found myself wandering outside onto Sterling grounds, freshmen students were not allowed to go off of school property until after Christmas. It was still only just September so the area that I and fellow freshmen’s were allowed in was very restricted and would be for a while. Being so small though it did not take long until I walked out of the entrance doors of the school and found the three other girls who were in freshmen there, Sarah, Amanda and Elise, the three of them were sitting in a circle talking to an older male student in senior named Charlie Richardson. All the other groups of people I saw out on the school grounds were either playing sports or had autism. I felt that this small group of girls and one older male would be the most interesting. Slowly I approached the group and walked in and sat down in the circle of people. Elise then spoke and said Hi Noelle. I said hello and sat down the other two girls didn’t seem to make any type of motion, Charley kept talking to us about different aspects of the school, being because we were all just freshmen students new to the school. Charley talked to us about how there were different stores down at the plaza just a five minute walk down the road from the school. Then something came up for Charley as he took out his phone and checked something he then said that he had to go and walked off over near the entrance area of the school I then began to make talk with the three of them. Sarah and Amanda were quiet however though Elise had a louder voice, Elise then said to me So Noelle how are you? Sarah then said I can’t get over how were not allowed off school property till January. Elise then said I know that’s so stupid. Amanda then said, Four months isn’t really that long of a time though I suppose. I continued to make social conversation with them for several more minutes, then after several more minutes older students who were allowed off school property began to return from getting their lunches down at the plaza. People began to come towards us. Sarah’s older brother in senior, brought Sarah back a drink then shortly after he came and dropped that off to her, several new people came and joined in on us four. And so it was I met more new people, a few of their names were Joe White in junior, Yvonne Carter in junior and Josh Brown in sophomore. There was now a large group of us and we all started talking one person spoke out and said to us that if we wanted to go off school property we could, Sterling’s school population had become much bigger compared to what it was in past years and was so big now that the teachers who monitored grad nine students to make sure they didn’t go off school property couldn’t keep track anymore of who went on and off school property. In previous years it was impossible for freshmen students to break the rules and sneak off school property because teachers could keep track of where everyone was. However now because the school was so big now freshmen students could sneak off school property and it was possible to get away with it. Josh Brown then said, Yes we can all go out if you want. Then we all said who we were to each other again a second time on account of the five new people who had joined us then I told them that my name was Noelle. Then I looked at Yvonne, she was a girl in junior. She smiled at me and gave the strong impression that she liked me. She just simply looked at me and said Hello. in a nice sounding voice. We all then began to chat a little bit more about going off school property and how we didn’t like are uniforms and ways we could improperly where them. Then the bell rang signalling that it was time to go back inside the school, we all then stood up and began walking back to our classes. I had a really good happy feeling inside of me, I felt I was popular and had lots of friends. As the week went on I began socializing more during the spare period off, I would often go into groups of people and be energetic. I remember one day as I was out with a group of people Mr. White came out and asked how everything was going with us, I was in a group of junior students one of them said This person’s bothering us, can you get her to go away? I got really embarrassed, and scared as I suffered a great deal from anxiety and worried about what others thought about me. I started blushing as I normally did whenever I felt uncomfortable, lucky the person who said that had said it softly and I didn’t think Mr. White had heard her. Then Mr. White turned and went away back inside the school. I then continued talking about various things, they all looked at me like they weren’t interested. I could tell they were bothered but I didn’t care at all, I just badly wanted attention and didn’t care what anybody else thought. During the second week of school I was at the circle again with Elise, Sarah, and Amanda. We all called it the circle, outside because of the way we sat was in the shape of a circle. It was then one day of that second week that an older student Xavier in senior came up to us with his sentimental friend Ashley a girl in senior also. As they were walking up to us I looked at the three girls and asked them why are they holding hands the three girls looked at me in turn and said that they were dating. When Xavier arrived he talked a little bit with us I then looked at him and Ashly and said, How’s the relationship going? They looked at me disturbed, but again I didn’t care what anybody else thought of me. Then after they left Josh Brown shortly later came by the circle and again talked about going off of school property, I looked at him and said Yes Josh I would love to. But I’m too scared to do it. Josh Brown looked at me and said Well you know Noelle if you want me and Joe are at the coffee shop usually every morning we could be social there, and that’s totally allowed. I then said to Josh, Yes I want to do that. I will come and see you and Joe in the morning tomorrow at the coffee shop. Josh Brown then said Good I look forward to it. So it was I had an appointment tomorrow morning with Josh Brown and Joe White at the coffee shop down the road from Sterling in the plaza, there was a coffee shop in the plaza down the road from Sterling where people went most of the time to get coffee obviously and sandwiches and what not. That was where I and Josh Brown and Joe White would be meeting. The next day came quickly and so it was I came into the Coffee shop and met with Josh Brown and Joe White, they asked questions about me. I also in responsethen asked questions about them, then we talked about people at the school. I made statements about how I thought that other people had issue’s like Xavier and Ashly being in a relationship and how some of the people I met at the school were not right I felt this about a few of those students in junior who had told me to go away and that they didn’t find me interesting. I told them how they were not right and didn’t know what they were saying. Josh and Joe both looked at me with sarcastic looking expressions and said All right Noelle. Then shortly after the three of us walked back to Sterling together. We continued talking about are subjects, I was enjoying it so much and I liked Josh and Joe so much. I not only enjoyed talking to them but they were both really good looking boys which of course also enticed me to be with them. And now that I began planning in my mind, now that I knew that they come to the coffee shop every day before school started in the morning. I myself would start coming to visit them at the store every single morning. Then we approached Sterling and walked in through the doors and went to our classes. A week went by and it was now the third week of school, I continued to visit Josh and Joe in the mornings at the coffee shop, we would also walk back and engage in various conversations about school and what we all did at school. It had become a routine at this point that we did every morning and I also continued to be with Elise, Sarah, and Amanda during lunch hour. That day at the start of lunch hour I waited outside of the side school entrance and a bunch of senior students started coming out of the school. I walked up to Xavier and his Sentimental friend Ashly carpenter and asked how the relationship was going Ashly said What the hell?! and Xavier spitted in my direction and it almost landed on me. I felt annoyed and followed them, they kept on looking at me all the way till they got to their car and drove off. Witnesses saw Xavier spit towards me and reported it to Mr. White who in turn came and saw me later at the end of lunch and asked me if everything was all right? I said That yes everything was fine. Mr. White then said that he would talk to Xavier about what he had done. As it turns out Xavier claimed that he had not intended for it to hit me and that he meant no harm, or so he supposedly claimed. That incident though was the first time I had ever really talked to Mr. White or up close or so I thought. But I was about to see him again this time a lot closer.

    Chapter 4

First Personal Meeting with Mr. White

Time went on into the school year and soon it was the middle of October, I was still trying to be as sociable as I could be in the school community and was still trying to have relations with lots of people in the school community. I was trying to be in the spot light of attention so to speak. And so it was on a day in October that the whole school was going on a field trip to a theater performance that I had formulated a plan to get attention from people of the school that would put me in the spot light so to speak. Attention that was what I wanted more than anything else from people that was why I had been going into groups of people and trying to be sociable with people like Xavier and Ashly in senior I wanted attention, attention was partly my way of becoming social with people that I felt was very crucial at that age and time in my life. And I had a plan on that day of the field trip on how to get it. The day of the field trip was a school dress down day, a dress down day was a special day that the school called when students did not have to wear their Sterling school uniform. My plan to get attention was this, I owned a 1920’s style mink scarf that I thought would be perfect to captivate the students of the school. I knew my parents would not let me wear it to school so I decided to hide it on them. The morning of the day of the school field trip as they were getting ready to go out that morning I put the mink scarf into a safe area of my school bag so they wouldn’t know I was bringing it. I got into our car and my mother dropped me off at the entrance area of the school, I got out of the car and as soon as my mother drove off I took the mink scarf out of my school bag and put it around my neck. Immediately I felt increasing myself steam, I walked up to a group of people who were also not wearing uniforms as today was the day of the school trip and I wanted to show them what I wear when I’m not in uniform. I walked up to them and they all began to look at me with disgust and frustration one person said that he wished he had paint to throw on me. Hannah Cross a person in sophomore was right by me and screamed "Eww you can’t wear that that is so fucked, you killed those
