About this ebook
Fiona is an older, forty something lesbian top. And one night, on a trip to her favorite watering hole she catches sight of a young street walker, Cinnamon, that causes her heart to skip a beat. At first, the relationship is all business and Cinnamon lets Fiona know the clock is running and her time is expensive.
The encounter elicits a strange attraction between the two, different generations, and the two plan to leave their old lives behind, and head to a small town in northern Michigan. A place that stirs up mixed feelings from Cinnamon, as she has a very hard childhood there. Fond memories of the old hometown are few and far between.
While staying in a quaint Bed and Breakfast, the two go through some odd challenges to their relationship, and it seems the new found friendship may be in danger of dissolving prematurely. Fiona fears that Cinnamon will return to her life on the street and is soon overcome with grief.

Part One
. I am not so sure how long I stood in the rain as I watched her drive away in my car, for her job. But gradually the fat drops being shaken form the oak tree brought me to my senses. I seemed to have forgotten the rules for this whole friendship and anything else ship. It is an awkward place for a 40 something year old to be in.
Yes, me the eccentric extrovert who most people thought was pretty together is actually very unsure of herself often. New people new friends and all the self-conscious things that I thought I had left in my teens have returned. Too many years of being with the same person had somehow blunted me. But hell, I was more than ready. Too long alone without contact of people whom I could call family. I decided that I had soaked enough outside, and a good hot bath would do me good.
The warmth and comfort of my paradise enveloped me as I stepped into the sacred space, I call home. Warm colors, no new things, all well-worn and loved and lived in. Beady black eyes from my black pug stared at me accusingly as if to say, You are mad, not even I go out in this weather!
The water was semi pooling round my feet and I eased off the old hiking boots and padded to the bathroom. I lit a candle just because I can, some incense followed as my bath ran. Sweet senses for me. I thought it would be best if I left the clothes in the shower as they were so soaked. And I peeled my underwear off as the last to join the soaking pile. I love to wear pretty things under my clothes. Even if I have my old jeans and an awful plaid shirt, I would have a bra that would accentuate my lovelies and a g string to match. One of my vices...
I eased myself into the steam and sank with a sigh. Cinnamon's dancing eyes and warm smile filled my vision again. So beautiful in a very sexy intellectual way. Someone once asked me what it is that draws me to my lovers and I invariably say their minds. Yes -- sharp wit, clever with words and a solid sense of
