Chacon Carter-Jefferson
Chacon Carter-Jefferson is the owner of Chacon's Sweet Treats and Good Eats, a home-based business out of Columbus, Ohio. Not only does Chacon love to bake, but everything she bakes is made with LOVE! She started baking with her grandmother at a young age. From 2008-2010, Chacon ran a small business out of her own home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her family moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2010, and unfortunately, Chacon's baking was put on the back burner. Chacon began a new job and then became a new mom. Baking and cooking had been her passion, and she grew to miss it. So, in January 2016, she decided to start up her business again. Certified by the Ohio Department of Health and Agriculture and Serve Safe Certified, Chacon's customers' orders are always made in a safe and clean environment, and guaranteed fresh! Her mission is to bake delicious treats and cook southern meals that will have your stomach thanking you later! Top 10 Things You Need to Start Your Home Baking Business - Chacon Carter-Jefferson
This book is dedicated to my mom, kids, and husband.
Mom, you are the first entrepreneur I ever knew. Doing hair in a salon and taking care of us kids was not easy. You made it look easy, and we never wanted for anything. Thank you for showing me that I, too, could have my own business and be successful.
To my husband, thank you for being my supporter when I can be a headache. Thank you for giving me the constructive criticism I hate but need in order to grow and be better each day. Thank you for being there to help in any way you can to make sure me and this baking business is always successful. I love you!
To my kids, you are all brilliant, smart, and innovative. Follow your passion and heart’s desires and you will always win. If I can do it, you can do it. Never quit, and never give up! I love you all so much.
