Anight, just one night so many die, this night is a night of war between demons and magicians. This night is a night of new beginnings but no one sees that all they see is the bloodshed, if you take a deep look you might just see what I see, the thing is will you see it.

Chapter one

E va, Eva, Eva, wake up it’s time to go to school!

Eva’s mum calls out to her as she was in deep slumber dreaming of how her upcoming birthday would be. She woke up sluggishly, stretching her arms wide apart.

Eva, you got school today.

But it’s only 5 am in the morning, Eva replied letting out a yawn.

You have to go to school before 8am.

But it’s only 5; can’t I sleep a little longer?

No her mum said with a strict tone in her voice. Go shower now and I’ll make breakfast, she said as she walked out of Eva’s room.

Gosh! She’s so annoying, Eva dug her face in the pillow.

AT SCHOOL, EVA WALKS to her locker and lets out a loud yawn.

Hi! She heard from behind. And startled, she jumped only to see Miley behind her being lost for words she gave herself a gentle pat on her head, as if to stir her brain to remembrance.

You scared me, she told Miley.

I know, I wanted to, Miley said.

Eva was not surprised a bit, considering the fact that Miley loved to play scare pranks on people.

Anyways forget that. I came here to tell you about our new hunt at Adrian Bells Ave tonight. Miley said, a wicked grin playing at the corner of her lips.

The sound of that only shook Eva because the Ave was a place that is believed to have a great rumor break around town.

Adrian Bell’s Ave., are you crazy? It’s out of bounds to everyone, Eva yelled.

Shhh keep it down, tiger; we’re going to be there for only a couple of hours, just chill  

I can’t chill; do you know what could be in there? There could be ghosts, ghouls, bats, vampires, snakes and all other kinds of bad stuff.

Please Eva who are you trying to fool you or I?

Me but it’s not working, I’m in

Good, we meet tonight, I’ll call you when its time.

Ok, Eva replied.

"Trust me girl it is going to be fun,’’ Miley said as she hopped away in her usual lively manner.

Chapter two

E va, don’t go, I’ll kill you!

A knife passes through her stomach and she screams.

She wakes up from her terrible daydream screaming, when she notices the silence moving round the classroom and soon the piercing eyes of her classmates who looked condemningly upon her. She realizes she is in class and all shock and fear caused by her nightmare suddenly turns into awkwardness.

Eva is something the matter? her teacher asked.

Nothing sir, nothing at all, she replied.

Well then, meet me in my office after school I would like to have a word with you, privately.

Yes sir.

The bell ringed for period over and Miley walked up to Eva.

Did you get yourself in trouble with Mr. Dmitri?

I don’t know myself.

SHE WALKS UP TO MR. Dmitri’s office and knocks.

Who’s there? Mr. Dmitri shouted.

It’s me Eva Logan, she replied.

Come in.

She walked into the office and saw a lit up candle in the middle of two skulls, shocked she jumps.

Please don’t be scared they are only aesthetics.

She gave him a look that expressed her disapproval of his decorating style. Her mind came back to its sanity, and without any effort applied, a chair pulls aside for her to sit.

How did that happen?

I said the skulls were for decorations but what happened right now is real, please sit.

I’m sorry but I can’t.

She makes for the door in a hurry and as if by unseen forces, it suddenly locks shut.

I promise I won’t hurt you. I only want a word with you, nothing more.

She sat down looking scared and shaking.

Good girl.

He stroked her hair as he walked in circles round her.

I only have a message for you from Avion Nathan, Avion! he called a strange name.

His eyes glow bright blue and he fell to the ground.

Mr. Dmitri.

She walked to him and touched his body and a strange vibe passes through her fingers to her body and she flew across the room and hit a wall, then Avion gets up.

I’m deeply sorry for my excess power flowing through you, did you get hurt? 

Looking at an entirely different person, she was shocked and at the same time amazed.

Who are you?

He is surprised why she asked such a question, looks at a mirror, sees his face, and realizes the reason to her question.

Oh silly me I forgot to introduce myself, I am the second man inside my good friend Dmitri Van pelt, Avion Nathan guardian of the magic realm at your service.

Magic?

She laughs slightly maniacally and suddenly passes out.

Did my face scare her? he asked himself.

SHE WAKES UP IN AN awkward environment surrounded by different sparkling lights and flying books all around.

Where am I? she asked herself.

Oh you’re awake now, welcome to the magic realm.

Chapter three

Eva ran across the room screaming and Avion firmly grabs her by her arms.

Would you calm down?

How do you expect me to calm down?

Let me explain would you? Gosh.

Avion lets go of Eva and she calms down but her instincts were still at alert, then Avion walked to a dusty bookshelf a trail of yellow light follows his back then he picks an awkwardly looking book almost looking like a shoe box.

Eva, Avion calls out of her.

She bounces in fright as Avion calls her name.

Yes sir, Eva replied moving closer to him in terror.

I’d say I’m indebted to your call. I am your guardian and I need to get you prepared for what’s up ahead of us.

Now I’m concerned, awkwardly, what’s up ahead? 

A great threat happening on the night of the hallowed moon it would be ghastly.

I don’t get you what’s the hallowed moon and what would happen on that night?

The hallowed moon is a night where all magicians lose their powers and are vulnerable to demons and their king kaleese, all magicians would lose their powers except you and your other half.

Suddenly she becomes more concerned and sits on a chair.

So explain more, if I’m a magician why won’t my powers go along with the rest of you?

That’s the reason why I called you, you are chosen by the elders of magic you are the chosen one to fight for us during the war against kaleese your other half and I’m here to guide and guard you until that night.

Wait why me there are probably like a million other magicians out there so why me?

You weren’t chosen by the elders alone, you were chosen by the fate. 

Tell fate I don’t care, I want a normal life, I didn’t sign up for any of this.

None of us magicians signed up for any of this.

I don’t care I want peace, I’m not a magician.

You doubt me let’s put you to a test then. 

Eva looked at him with fear and anger and she gave out a big sigh, walked towards a bookshelf look at many book titles, and picked a book "fate"

"What does this book do?" Eva said.

What makes you think the book has something to do with you?

I never said anything like that, just answer me.

It teaches you all you need to know about destiny and what fate has set for you.

The book flies out of her hand and goes to Avion.

"Now you claim not to be a magician we shall see about that, can you say these words please ‘kriation istanos morinatus,’ can you give it a try that Miss Logan?"

It’s silly I can’t do that.

You doubt me find out and see.

Eva laughed lightly and swung her arms around.

"Ok, ‘kriation istanos morinatus,’"

It’s ok to be afraid in one twinkle I’ll blow you away, Avion said.

A gentle breeze blows through the room, Eva got surprised, and avion walked to her with a book in his hand.

That cool breeze explains it all enjoy your evening.

Gives her a book with the title "FATE"

Might catch a few things, Avion said as he rubbed his palms together and white lights shone around him.

Dmitri I’m done here.

Wind blows wildly and Eva notices herself on the floor in Mr. Dmitri's office as she gets up she sees the room arranged and Mr. Dmitri lending a hand to help her get on her feet.

Need a hand? he asked.

Thanks Eva replied as he helped her up.

Did you learn anything today?

I’ll try to, I’ll be on my way now, she said leaning on the door. 

Have a good day, goodbye he waved.

EVA WALKED ALONG THE sidewalk close to a water fountain and she slips, when a boy comes out of nowhere and catches her.

Hey watch your step, you don’t want to fall into the fountain trust me it is deeper than it looks, he said with a child-like smile.
