About this ebook
Wolves are their mortal enemies, and she's mated to one.
Sabrina, a witch, had grown up on tales of the horrors of werewolves. She'd never thought much about it, never having met one, until one bit her against her will, seemingly proving her mother and the rest of the coven right.
Now, she had to face them at the yearly pilgrimage to Avebury from Stonehenge. On her way, her mate found her. Now she had his life to worry about too.
Treyan found his mate, but was confused that she had no idea about her pack... Then he discovered her real heritage. A witch. Of all the people to be mated to, he had to find a witch, the mortal enemies of the werewolves for half a millennia.
And on a supermoon month. He vowed to help protect her, even from her own coven if necessary. But would it be enough against centuries of prejudice, or would they both die in a fiery maelstrom by the coven's hand?
Re-edited from version in out of print Magic and Weres anthology.

Chapter One
Modern day England
Tired and disheveled, Sabrina shoved the loose hair out of her eyes. For days, she’d traveled the long road to their coven’s meeting grounds. First by car, staying overnight at a hotel, then walking from Stonehenge. So this was only the second day, and okay, so she’d cheated. Her friend had dropped her off at the visitor’s center in Stonehenge, which wasn’t against the rules. However, having her friend Sasha take the car near Avebury so she wouldn’t have to walk back could be construed that way.
But was it really cheating? She still did the traditional walkabout and ended where she needed to for the rituals. What did they care how she left? The hours on her feet hurt. She didn’t want to repeat them.
Besides, she may need an escape route after they found out what she’d become.
With mixed feelings of anticipation and trepidation warring for the starring role, her nerves frayed to a breaking point. For example, yelling at a small child who bumped into her for which she threw a small apology out at the bug-eyed kid. She prayed to Mother Earth for forgiveness and patience. Although, she feared that she no longer counted as a child of the great one.
Her throat swelled up and tears clogged what little space remained. Angrily, she forced air through, not caring who saw her scowl. Then much to her horror, a growl came out. She covered her mouth, ashamed, and peered around to see if anyone had heard her.
No one even looked at her twice.
Only two months.
A short period of time, yet a lifetime’s worth of regret, pain, and shame. On a whim, she’d chosen to slip out
