Chapter 1

This is going to be the best week of our lives! Nate Michaels shouted at the top of his lungs, his bellowing caveman-like voice echoing in his girlfriend Cori Smith's ears. She grabbed her head trying to soothe the pain rattling inside of her head.

After three years together she should have been prepared for such things, but somehow Nate was always able to surprise even her with his crazy, alpha macho mannerisms. It was funny, but she used to think such behavior was cute and even sexy. Nowadays she found that it was starting to wear a little thin on her. Hopefully he would learn to dial it back as they prepared to enter the real world. It was unlikely that his new bosses at Riverdale Banking, the investment banking firm he had secured a stellar entry-level position with next month would think too much of his rowdy ways.
