Prince Orpheus (Male Lead) – he is a Vampire, 120 years old, and a Prince of the Vampire Kingdom in Transylvania. He is son to King Draven a powerful and ruthless king. In appearance Orpheus is tall, medium built, pale in colour, with red lips and piercing yellowish eyes with longer black curly hair. He is considered very handsome. His beauty comes from his Mother, who was a human that turned into a Vampire for love but died after falling sick during her pregnancy. Orpheus is taught how to rule but is not interested in ruling and fighting. He longs to be a part of another world.
Ariel (Female Lead)- she is a guardian angel, who roams the Earth to protect and guide humans and other creatures. She has served and protected the realm of the angels for centuries. She is fair skinned but glows like the sun, her hair long golden waves down to her hips. Her eyes a mix of soft blue and hazel, with one colour showing more than the other and different times.
King Draven (Accessory character)- King and Ruler of Transylvania, a harsh and cruel ruler who still mourns the loss of his wife, Annabelle. He does not have a good relationship with his son for this reason and wants to rule forever.

Chapter One
The castle walls echoed with loud, furious yelling that brought its ringing sound all the way to the resting chambers below. With his impeccable and sensitive hearing, even in the farthest room, Prince Orpheus heard his Father’s anger loud and clear and rolled his eyes. He full well knew that the last time he had heard the same sort of yelling coming from above, it had been about him; it was always about him and this time was not going to be any different.
Ah, yet another thing I must have done to disappoint Father. It cannot be more evident that he almost despises me, almost only because I do resemble my Mother, otherwise he would have rid himself of me a century or more ago. I do not know how much I can ponder over these things before I go mad, wondering about this ironic life, the curse of the night and the hunger for blood. Alive but also dead. If I could have awoken another being, I would have been happier. I’d do anything to be what I am not.
The Prince thought to himself, looking out his window into darkness and heavy clouds with only the moonlight giving little sight over the land in view. He sighed, knowing what was to come. Shortly after as expected, he heard distant but hurried footsteps growing louder as they approached the door to his room followed by panicked knocking.
Prince Orpheus, your Highness, I am sorry to disturb you at this hour but the King requests your presence at Court immediately. He is quite angry,
a voice from behind his door almost pleaded.
I will be right out,
Prince Orpheus replied calmly, walking away from the window he was looking out of and heading towards the door.
He opened it to see Aspen, his Father’s personal guard and watchman who happened to be a troll, standing in front of him with a worried look on his face. Aspen was not
