- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Cute book. Liked the rhyming and the pictures reminded me of Ranger Rick before it went 3-D. Could guess what was coming at the end. Very enjoyable book!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A rhyming/ poetry book about the "big, bad" wolf coming and everyone running for cover and hiding for safety. There is a twist at the ending of the book about the wolf's true nature and a twist that will surely make everyone laugh. The rhyming is fun to read and I think little one's will like the flow of the story. It's a quick story will little text but lots of detailed and colorful pictures to go with it. The book would be good to model stories for young readers or how to write a suspenseful short story without any violence involved or with a funny ending.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great twist on a classic!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5this is a more detailed version of the three little pigs. Everybody thinks that the wolf is going to eat the pigs but that's not the case. They are throwing a birthday party for wolf and they are all friends and want to have a good time with one another.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book is a cute story about the three little pigs and the wolf. It is not the traditional fairytale, It is written with lots of suspense and the illustrations make the reader think that the wolf is coming to eat the pigs. All the animals of the forest are gathered to surprise the wolf with a birthday party. This book can also be used as a comparison and contrast lesson. There are so many versions of this fairytale and this one offers a cute twist to it. Great addition to any library.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Big hit with a two-year-old I know! Dark colors, suspense building page after page, bad, bad wolf and the cute little pig - and then a surprise twist. Works time after time. Fresh but wholesome. Recommended. Easy to read for a crowd of children with clear pictures, dark reading tunes.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I was looking for pig picture book for a farm story time. This was a cute twist on a big bad wolf story. The illustrations were very polished looking.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The wolf is coming everyone begins to run and hide just like they had planned. Everyone gets inside the house, pull the shades down, and begin to hide. As the wolf comes in everyone yells Surprise and have cake and pizza for everyone. I love this story because in the beginning you think that the wolf is coming to eat the other animals and thats why they are hiding, but really everyone was hiding for his surprise party which was really sweet. You can see how everyone cared about him and that everyone is friends.
